8/9/2024 Topic: argh, more yupping mistakes collectibleshop	bump for new info: Casper0312 can remove the mistaken yups/nopes so we don't get the nope penalty if they're noped OFF. You can message him on his profile page at https://comicspriceguide.com/members/casper0312 . may take a few days as his real job keeps him busy. He's taught me many things about the Verify data stuff and other CPG how-to's that I pass on to others, so thanks Casper for all the education and help. I don't know if Xvipah73 and other admins can remove verify mistakes yet, but if you're an admin and you can, please chime in and let us know. 8/10/2024 Topic: Unlisted Wolverine 36 Cover collectibleshop	those are called 'virgin' covers, and they missed it somehow. If all the features here worked, you could use the Report Missing Variant function, but that's missing at the moment, for windows users at least. I attached a pic for CPG to use. Yours is showing a broken image icon to me.
8/11/2024 Topic: Unlisted Wolverine 36 Cover collectibleshop	so you were able to see the Report Missing Variant link on the issue listing? interesting. some us can't see that any more. other stuff works with Macs apparently, but not windows, or at least some windows, not sure, but it's more than just me and my old windows and firefox browser. on the pic link, when you use the 'link' icon, the image has to be on the net somewhere for that to work. that's generally frowned upon, as linking to another site steals their bandwidth (also, linking to price guide competitors is forbidden too), but linking to your own pics on an image storage site is ok, but many aren't allowing remote linking like that anymore. attaching an image still works, but the Attach button has disappeared for some reason, but the hyperlinked space is still there to the left of the Preview button at the bottom of the compose window. run your cursor over that area to find it. when clicked, the 'browse' button etc still shows up. so you can copy and save a pic off a website and upload from your device that way. won't show the pic itself of course, but people can download/open it.

I'm also using an 'older' windows OS, and can't see the Report Missing Variant button, and my adblock is not blocking it either. possibly a browser thing, but dunno why they'd change the code on those kind of links/buttons, if that's what happened. oh well... edited by collectibleshop on 8/11/2024

About 3 weeks or so ago, CPG did some big update to the site (to help admins to their job easier), and changed the 'skin' on the forum. this caused all kinds of bugs, and some link buttons are now missing for some users, like the Report Missing Variant, the Attach Image button for forum posts (it's invisible, but the space is still linked, to the left of the Review button), the trashcan icon for deleting mistake entries on the verify data page doesn't work, various comic box functions don't work, we can't upload pics for Missing scans (some Mac users can), the links menu at the top of the forum doesn't work for 3 of the 6, and more. nary a peep about any getting fixed yet. check out some posts here: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=23
8/13/2024 Topic: Spider-Man Reign #2 2024 UPC Code collectibleshop	you can add pic attachments if you know where the secret link is. It's just invisible at the 3 weeks+ moment. run your cursor to the left of the preview button in the compose window and you'll find it, and it still works when you click on it. The Browse button etc still shows then. this has been posted about several times now . That's assuming you meant attach a pic vs an embedded link in the message. The Spider-verse issue that UPC goes to is incorrectly listed Oct 2024 but is in the 2022-23 mini series results. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/edge-of-spider-verse/phpwlu , it's the duplicate #2 with no pic. 75960620399400211 is the correct UPC for it (two 9's in a row in it, which is probably why the mix-up somewhere). And the other book is Spider-Man Reign 2 #2, for the 75960620394900211 UPC, as you noted. So the Oct 2024 Spider-verse 2 needs deleting from the 2022-23 series and the UPC reassigned to the Reign 2 #2. Right? edited by collectibleshop on 8/14/2024
8/14/2024 Topic: Gun Honey Collision Course #2 Cover A scan collectibleshop	yes, the submit scan function isn't working for most people, one of the many bugs lately. I copied and converted your .bmp pic to .jpg at https://www.freeconvert.com/ , and attached it, as CPG doesn't accept .bmp format. 8/16/2024 Topic: SDCC FF book collectibleshop	Hi, heard of google? plenty of these on ey. It IS Fantastic Four #22 virgin cover, handed out only at the FF panel at SDCC. The main database sites I checked don't have it yet either. If your forum pic was the one submitted, it was rejected because it's not squared up, and not cropped. I tried to copy and fix it, but it's not squared up enough. nobody on ey has a good pic at the moment either, neither did google images, but don't have all day to look. If you can get a better pic, without bag glare, or better to take it out and scan it (the bag doesn't matter! and no camera pics), crop it to the edges, .jpg format preferred, then you could resubmit it, if that function works for you, as it doesn't for many of us at the moment. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fantastic-four/22/pitwhst is where it would go when/if it gets added. that's all I can tell ya. edited by collectibleshop on 8/16/2024
8/17/2024 Topic: Missing: Amazing Spider-Man Epics collectibleshop	Hi, couple tips for the future. it's always VERY helpful to attach pics or links to them. comics.org and the leagueofcomicgeeks.com are good resources for that, among others. I attached a pic of #10 for CPG to use, since most of us can't submit pics due to a bug, but admins can. 8/17/2024 Topic: SDCC FF book collectibleshop	ok, wasn't sure how new you were to the site. The Report Missing Variant button is missing for most of us anyway. Unbagging it is just for getting a good scan, and it shouldn't be kept in the bag for long term anyway. you can post a better pic if you get one, doesn't need to be huge (700px high is good), just cropped to the edges. As for which name it goes by, apparently people are using both Marvel Zero 2024 and FF 22 virgin and SDCC. I saw the back too, but GCD doesn't have it under either title, not does mycomicshop, leagueofcomicgeeks, etc. Maybe it's both, but since everyone is saying it's FF 22, I'm going with that. 8/18/2024 Topic: SDCC FF book collectibleshop	ok, cool. I didn't go check your profile before. The level designations aren't really important as you say, and you only go up when you contribute X amount of info for the database more than other people, but you don't get much of any perks. It's harder to do now with so many bugs blocking some functions. So we'll await what you find in the indicia and hope an admin can get it added for you and any others who have it.

8/20/2024 Topic: SDCC FF book collectibleshop	well, sorry about that. but why does everyone list it as FF #22 then? do you own the regular FF 22? is it the same story inside as the Zero one? did the system give you a reason why you couldn't attach a pic of the indicia? or were you linking to it from somewhere else? the Attach image link for forum posts is invisible at the moment, but it's to the left of the Preview button at the bottom of the compose window. your cursor will find it, and it works when you click on it, and you can attach a pic then.

Report Missing Variant button doesn't show to me or others. 'Attach' button is invisible on the forums post's compose window, but the link is still working in that space. the other two buttons show, why would that one disappear after the new skin change? The main Search page ( https://comicspriceguide.com/search ) Country option doesn't show All Countries until AFTER I do a search and click on an issue/title, then it shows the old way with All Countries at the top, which is way too late and makes more work to find stuff. And what's the sub-search field for, above the country list? it does nothing near as I can tell. pic attached. on the Forum search form, nothing below the title box works, all the dropdowns now just flash open and disappear. Wonder if when they handed them out at SDCC they called them FF 22, so everyone's gone with that? Odd thing, this is.
