7/19/2024 Topic: The Daredevils (Marvel UK) collectibleshop	They don't need a pic, all the pics are on the comics.org page. the image Attachment button is currently not VISIBLE (at least for me), but the LINK is still there if you move your cursor to the left of the Preview link till the hand shows up. one of many bugs they have to to squash. Casper or someone will get the title listed correctly when they can, so be patient, there's lots of stuff for them to do and the bugs aren't helping.
7/20/2024 Topic: Spider-Man Reign 2 collectibleshop	it's not listed yet for some reason. it helps if you can provide more info, pics, or links to it. like so: https://www.comics.org/issue/2643733/ they list it with 8 total covers, but only have 5 of them. creators are not indexed yet, but if own the book, you can post the list on here for CPG to use.

I also get nothing but blank space in the right column on the variants page, below the contributing members stuff, so can't report a missing variant either. dunno what they did lately with the last update, but all kinds of functions have disappeared or are not working. That's the one you use. that's what I thought, but there's no button showing to me, and I tried disabling my adblock too. so it's either gone missing, like other links, or they changed it to some code my older browser can't decipher. good thing I don't need to use it hardly ever.

7/23/2024 Topic: Star Wars Tales info/stuff/corrections collectibleshop	so while running down and trying to add most of the missing photo covers for this series, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/star-wars-tales/umpp . I noted some of the photo covers don't have that notation on the sub-title: 5b & C, 6B, 7B, 8B, 21B & C. 5B, 10B, 14B, 23C, 24C have artists names listed for cover artists, so that's wrong. and I mis-clicked the wrong job on 14B and pasted Photo Cover for inker, argh. Messed up on #20B too. Before I got the cover off GCD, I entered Photo for the cover. it's clearly not a photo cover (they broke the streak), but both GCD and the realm have it as a photo cover. So another sub to remove, as the trashcan icon on the Verify page still isn't working. So another job for Xvipah-dawan73 ). See what I did there? A Star Wars joke, ha! (My ALF impression). Also, I can't upload the missing photo covers, as I get the 'must be a silver/gold/over 3 contributor' popup still. edited by collectibleshop on 7/23/2024
7/23/2024 Topic: Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween (x3) collectibleshop	they have them. they're under the Prestige Format tab for the BLDK series: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman-legends-of-the-dark-knight/ris this comes up all the time, so if you'd do a forum search first, you'd find the answer. but, the problem is CPG's indexing of these Specials. They don't come up using the Specials choice in the Comic Type menu, and they should. they also should be under a Specials tab for the BLDK series, especially since they're the only prestige format issues under that tab. nobody searches for prestige format when the title has Special in it. They also aren't indexed for a 'Batman Halloween' search, despite those words being on the cover and in the indicia, so they're not titled properly either, after all these years. so it would greatly help searches if these details were fixed, and it has been mentioned before. indicia pics attached for CPG verification.

7/23/2024 Topic: Star Wars Tales info/stuff/corrections collectibleshop	the other photo covers that say Photo Cover in the subtitle have lettering and 'drawn' background art too (as do the majority of any photo covers), so that's apparently ok, since the main image is a photo. It's possible some background artists have credits for that work on the inside, but the ones I checked elsewhere only say photo cover too. you can go ahead and nope the subs for inker and photo cover on 14b and 20b, that won't hurt me. no telling when the delete function will be fixed. I attached pics for the 10B, 15B and 20B covers, maybe you or some admin can add them. back to you in the studio... 7/23/2024 Topic: Amazing Spider-man 100 (UK variant) collectibleshop	deleted the cpg cookies just in case, no diff. attached a screenshot from the ASM 100 UK listing. dunno why the suggested value link doesn't show and doesn't show in the source code to me, although it could be somewhere in there. I did a 'find' search for 'suggest', 'update' and 'value', and only value matched any text in the source code. it may well be in one of the css style sheets, which I'm not gonna search. I gave up suggesting values long ago, but maybe others are having the same prob and there's an explanation. OR, since I haven't needed to use that thing for ages, it may have disappeared for me long ago due to code updates and I just didn't know. Paging Scooby Doo... edited by collectibleshop on 7/23/2024

I'd think I could see the code for it with view source, but I've looked above and below that whole section and there's nothing in plain text anyway, so could be in the css style sheet. not a huge deal. very possibly both my FF versions are too old to see the link there now.
7/26/2024 Topic: Missing: Giant-Size Spider-Man #2 collectibleshop	two ways to find it. put just Spider-Man and #2 in the search fields, then use Giant Size in the Comic Type menu drop down. If you put in Giant size for the search term, it won't come up. don't ask why, lots of search stuff makes no sense here. 7/26/2024 Topic: Fated Faeries one-shot collectibleshop	don't feel bad, I'm a 9 and can't upload missing scans either, as that's one of the many things on the fritz since some kind of update. and so you know, so you don't get noped when that feature works again, you need to tighten your cropping to the edges on the comic better. lots of your pic subs have margins showing (some may get approved anyway, some get noped), and when the BIG pic of the fairies shows, it needs cropping on the top, left edge and bottom. the pics don't need to be that huge either, so if you can resize them to around 700px high, that works pretty well. oh, I see now it's an e*y image, so may not be your scan. it's also a webp format, which CPG can't use. You can change it to a .jpg on this free image editing site: https://ezgif.com/webp-to-jpg . you can upload it or put in the url, then when the page reloads, you scroll down a bit to hit 'convert', then you can save it. and when they have them, comics.org is a great place to get ready-to-go pics that save scanning etc. but they don't have this one yet. if you don't know, you can check if anything got noped off on the Check Your Rank page, under the Misses column. link is on the Verify page, top paragraph. https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data. it won't say WHY usually, but then you can resubmit the sub if you can figure out why (lots of creator subs get the names/jobs wrong for example). 7/26/2024 Topic: Batman #150C Cover Artists collectibleshop	I think I yupped it after doing some research to see those 2 are credited for cover art, but not sure, I may have just ignored it. so if you submit it again I'll yup it if it lasts long enough...big creators list to verify at the moment, takes time and feeling like pawing thru it.
7/27/2024 Topic: Fated Faeries one-shot collectibleshop	in the compose or edit window, the attach file link is to the left of the Preview link, where's it's been, but is now invisible for some reason. so move your cursor over that area till the hand shows up. then click and it will show the usual browse button and you can upload to the post. at least that's how it is on a desktop, no idea on a phone.
7/27/2024 Topic: Beyond the Pale #1 collectibleshop	I cropped it a tiny bit on the right side and reduced the size to 700px high and attached it for cpg to use. your pics are under the file size limit of 5mb, but very large dimensionally.
