First appearance of immortal Hulk picking up in va

Just as Ronbatman has said, the prices keep moving up on The Immortal Hulk even as it gets to issue 16. And as he says the regular covers are often what people want more than the variants, even though they all go up in value. What is still so weird is that the prices keep moving up as later issues come out which is usually not the case in most comic book series. Supposedly right now, before it has even come out, issue 16 is already going up in price big time. |

Disney's Dumbo 2019

If you thought Captain Marvel, which is also owned by Disney, hit you over the head with women's lib wait until you see what Dumbo does. It is more like a battering ram. Overall, the movie is a kind of a mishmash of a plot. I figure, it in Disney's quest to have total diversity in their movies they must have hired a retarded man to write the script. One interesting fact about this movie is that it appears to vilify Disneyland with its depiction of a fictional Dreamland. edited by colbalt91 on 3/27/2019 |

This is a great movie. This is a fun movie. DC Comics finally has a movie that is not too ponderous. This film moves like lightning and comes in at 2 hours and 10 minutes, though it does not seem like it. So the original Captain Marvel, whose name we cannot say due to lawyers, in my opinion beats out Marvel's Captain Marvel movie. And at the ending credits there are two sequences to watch for. |

Free Comic Book Day Give-a-way

I was at my comic store today, because it is Wednesday, of course, and I mentioned that I did not see this one certain free comic book at the different stories I had visited on Saturday. My comic store looked it up because they had not heard of the comic either and they found that they could still order it from Diamond and they put an order in for it. And it was free. |

I noticed the regular cover that was the top comic bought by the members of this website. The regular cover shows the two new super heroes. There is a second print coming which has an entirely different cover and looks like Artgerm might have made it, but he didn't. And there will even be a variant for the second print which will be a Virgin cover of the cover of the second print. Yes, this book is starting to heat up intensely. I lucked out today and picked up a fold-up poster of the regular cover that my comic shop was giving away free. I don't think they had looked at the poster. edited by colbalt91 on 5/16/2019 |

Marvel Comics Presents # 6

This comic is getting a tremendous amount of heat as it introduces another daughter of the Wolverine. Apparently it took people by surprise and that would explain the prices as it is already had two price increases on our site. Of course, some people are wary as to how many daughters and sons does the Wolverine have and can the plenitude of them keep a comic price from collapsing. Still nobody wants to be left out so that could explain the price increases for this comic. Number five has a cameo by this character and from what I understand other issues have hints or other pieces of this character in them. So, a lot of people are asking why # 6 and not # 5? Or perhaps even an earlier issue where a hint is given. For some reason # 6 has been decided by the powers that be as the issue to have. |

Yesterday

"Yesterday" is a pleasant movie about a guy suddenly finding he is in a world that has never heard of The Beatles, the legendary rock group from the 60s. As his musical career is floundering he decides to incorporate the now unheard of songs of The Beatles into his new repertoire and he is rapidly ascending as the hot new artist in this world without the Beatles. Really, how can this movie not be successful. Almost the whole soundtrack is made up of Beatles songs. The only hitch to the success of this movie is that apparently there has been a French comic book out for about 10 years, also called "Yesterday" which has a very similar plot. It ought to be interesting when the lawyers get ahold of this information. edited by colbalt91 on 7/3/2019 |

Zombie Tramp # 61 variant
colbalt91
|
Zombie Tramp(Vol.3) # 61 is a Stan Lee tribute cover variant that depicts Zombie Tramp with her tits on the tombstone of Stan Lee. Well, the letter 'n' and the letter 'e' of the first and last name is sort of obscured, but we know whose name it is. I guess they didn't want a lawsuit from the family or Marvel Comics. This is the non risque variant as there is also a topless variant of Zombie Tramp hugging a tombstone of the Comic Book Authority. Artist Winston Young did the artwork that graces both covers. Anyway I like Winston Young's artwork so I ordered both covers and now the non risque( she's wearing a bikini top) cover is nearing $50. I even found one at another comic shop so now I have two. Zombie Tramp never has a large print run and I'm sure the variants have even less. Should be pretty rare. |
