New variant additions

yeah, those instructions were from ronbatman that I keep a copy of to paste quickly. I'll change 'below any listed variants' to 'the bottom of the listed variants', cuz some issues have SO many variants it takes a bit of scrolling to get to the bottom of them to see that button. as for your earlier post, I'm having difficulty finding what you are describing here on the website. All I've ever been able to do is go to the Forums link, and I select the link(?) for Issues and then variants. I never see a tab, (they always look like pages) or any other method to submit missing issues or variants. I have no idea how to resize or reformat an image for submissions here. There is no clear instructions or evidence of instructions on where to go here on the site or how to resize images forsubmissions. If I sound redundant, I do apologize. I just get frustrated when things are not as easy as they ought or sound to be. And that's even with following your given instructions. Thanks
I'm not sure if I understand all that. You've only been to the forums and not to the main site and used the search form? Your member page says you've been a member since 2010, so figured you knew your way around the site by now. Maybe you've found it now. this is the listing page for Heat Seeker #3, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/heat-seeker-a-gun-honey-series/3/pisrmpy . you see the (faintly highlighted) 'tabs' right above the issues?: Details Values Variants My Collection so clicking the Variants link shows all the variant issues, and AFTER any listed ones is the 'report missing variant' button. That brings up the form to add a pic and info. Watch their youtube videos, that should help: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3eOHtGDGIs0GGohUDuypf3TlQM2aupdo the main site search page/form is https://comicspriceguide.com/search in case you don't know, and has all kinds of options in the fields drop down menus, MORE than the forum search box does, so better to use the main one to help narrow results.
if you don't know how to resize pics, you can find many ready-to-copy and submit ones at comics.org, so bookmark that. They can be a little slower to add new comics and they also don't have all the variants of everything, but you can find most with google eventually, and if you can't, post about it on the Database and Missing Issue forum (which actually is where your 1st post shoulda been), and someone can probably track it down. I'll message you about another site too, so check your CPG messages in your dashboard. And no, there's no info on the site about how to resize pics, that's up to users to know or find out. plenty of free online or downloadable applications to edit pics with. read this thread about pic guidelines: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=5 also see this thread for my search tips (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12110

I have a different Issue #3A for Heat Seeker A Gun Honey Series. What you have listed my be an alternative variant? forgot to reply to this one. your #3A is the regular cover that CPG didn't have of that one (goes with the 3F virgin cover), so I reduced the size and submitted it too. And I'm not an admin by the way, just a member. |

One last question... I've got "The Uncanny X-Men" #300 Limited Treasured Edition (#2159 of 13,100) It is not listed as a variant - close to the "Prismed" version but the foil stamp is different It is has an unopened seal - "Seal of Authenticity" And it is signed by penciller John Romita, Jr. ---- "JR JR" Does this limited run fall outside the norm?
Thanks once again! Rob yes, it's outside the norm, as CPG doesn't list most signed comics unless from Dynamic Forces or Catch A Star, although you will find some signed ones on here anyway, mostly signed/numbered hardcovers. see the post about this at the top of the forum: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=9 |

it's listed. Titan is a UK publisher so you need to us either 'all countries' or UK on the Country menu on the search form. Plus, did you not see the note below the zero results using the default USA choice that says "No results? Try these tips: Are you looking at the right country? Try changing the search to "All Countries". Your search may have been published outside the USA." You can also search by Publisher in that box for Titan (then change the USA choice to UK) and click the Titan name and then the W for those titles, and bam, there be wolfenstein down the list. it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/wolfenstein/pjwtcp |

nope, they're all here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/p-craig-russell-library-of-opera-adaptations-the/siqwh the correct title for the series is The P. CRAIG RUSSELL LIBRARY OF OPERA ADAPTATIONS. Magic Flute is just the STORY title. Even if you searched P. Craig Russell it would come up. edited by collectibleshop on 1/28/2024 |

Missing the Children's Crusade Arcana Annual

nope, it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/arcana/1annual/pmps it's probably not titled quite right in the database, but just searching Arcana and Annual in the Comic Type choice finds it. always try fewer keywords. sometimes you have to get down to one before something will come up. I don't know what the indicia inside says, but looks like it should be titles Arcana The Books of Magic, seeing as how it's a one shot and not part of a series where it would only be under the Annual tab. So maybe an admin will adjust that. so as I've posted so often, see this thread for my search tips (4th post down): https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12110

Ok, that would have been helpful to know. the more info you can provide, like publisher, the easier it is for people to find the right books. and pics REALLY help, so please attach them or put a link to them in the future. as it turns out, these are issues of Night Music, so are listed under Night Music, as #9, 10 and 11. The indicia inside should be titled as Night Music, so that's another place to check for the correct title to search for: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/night-music/xcts and it helps if you do what the 2nd post in this forum says, as it speeds things up for the admins for books that actually are missing: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=8 edited by collectibleshop on 1/28/2024 |

you can submit missing variants thru the system, which is the preferred way. here's how: Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this. Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/space-usagi-yokai-hunter/1/pisvbwy Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side at the bottom any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required if they have most from other variants already). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. Comics.org says this is the Knowhere Games & Comics variant, so out that in the info. and read this post from admin Ronbatman: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=18278#post42605 edited by collectibleshop on 1/29/2024 |

yeah, they don't have it. I attached pics of both the 1st print and revised edition, and the publishing/creators info page from comics.org is https://www.comics.org/series/1925/ , so an admin can get all that there. that page is for the revised edition as GCD didn't have a page like that for the 1st edition. GCD lists a 1980 softcover edition too, but no pic, and I'm not right gonna go look for one right now. |

I attached smaller and better cropped pics of both for CPG to use. Yours had just a little extra border, so they need to be cropped to the edge of the comic. I think some of your subs to the database have needed cropping too, so they may have been noped, so make sure they're cropped right. |

pic doesn't work. as for the sealed Aquaman, is it sealed with an action fig, or a sealed bag? if with a figure, then the fig package should have a copyright date on it, and that might tell you which volume of aquaman it goes with. edited by collectibleshop on 2/6/2024 |

yeah, you're right on the artist, but people who look at the larger pic will see Parillo's sig and notice the same image on the other Parillo's and maybe nope it, so figured it was better to remove your sub and wait for them to correct the subtitle. 1 nope ain't gonna hurt either. |
