Batman Day 2023 books

for some reason they didn't make them findable using Batman Day, but I found 2 using the full titles:
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman-the-joker-the-deadly-duo/1-BATDY/pistkuq is under the mini-series title.
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman/608-BATDY/pistkrx is under Batman #608 variants.
and there's a Batman Day Exclusives list too, but it only shows if you just use Batman in the Exclusives search list, which doesn't make it easy to find, or make sense. the page and URL says Batman Day, but if you use that in the Exclusives search box, it gets no results.

https://comicspriceguide.com/exclusives/batman-day/smx
but I can't find the Batman/Catwoman one under anything with many various search terms. should be here (as well as Batman Day Exclusives and Batman Day searches), going by how the others were found, but it's not: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/batman-catwoman-the-gotham-war-battle-lines/phwpot .

They should ALL be cross-referenced under Batman Day for searches, right? but none of these 3 are.

yes, I know technically how the 0.00 prices get added. the point is, how does someone, or several people, do that when the books clearly have $3.99 prices on the cover?
and #1G, H, L and P still show 0.00, but clearly have 3.99 right there on the cover. the virgin covers are probably 3.99 too, but on the back or inside, but not gonna do the research on those.

so now 1G (the PREVIOUS 1G, been replaced now with a virgin cover), H, L, and P are not even listed now?
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/sheena-queen-of-the-jungle/pkxpnt
I don't collect the title, was just filling in prices as someone else had submitted 1 on the verify list, but wondering what's happened to these missing variants?

this post/thread should explain it: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12862

In the upper right corner when logged in, click on your user name for the drop down menu, and click My Rank and it will go to your rank/level info, and show you your 'hits' and 'misses' and last 10 pending verifications list. Missed ones will need to be deleted and tried again. If you don't know already, you can delete data submissions by going to https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data , under whatever tab, and find the publisher name in the drop down menu, click that, then click the comic title you need to correct, and then you'll see a trashcan icon to the right of the entries of your submissions that only you can use. Click the trashcan icon, then click Continue in the popup box. Then you can go back to the CPG listing of the book and submit the correct info.
'Points/Level/Rank' are the same thing, so that 4 you see by your name on the stuff you do on the verify list is your points/rank.

to be clear, you don't get points/credit for approving submissions, only for submitting things that do get approved.--oops, not right, so corrected in my next post.--- Takes a LOT of submitting info to get past level 7, and then it's a climb to get to 9. I didn't keep track of how long it took to get to 9 for me, but I wasn't doing much data submission for a long time till a couple/3 years ago maybe, but did a ton since then. Easiest to do is cover prices. There is no way to 'track' your points as Ron said in that thread, it's all done by the computer algorithm, so just have to wait until you see your level number change.

CPG doesn't generally list this kind of material. It's not a comic book, or comic adaptation of the movies, it's just a guide to the characters and plot with pics from the movies. Doesn't meet their standards.

I thought you did get points for approving. When I am approving/verifying someone's submission, it does tell me I get 8 points.

well it looks like I stand partially corrected. After reading Ron's post again, it does say, "For any piece of data to be approved some member or admin has to give it 10 points...The more things you approve the higher your ranking. To approve a specific creator for a book a member who is a 1, a 5 and a 4 could approve it because that is 10 points. Or a 1 and a 9 could approve it. You get the idea."
I was always under the impression that only the submissions count towards your ranking, not approvals, but seems that's wrong. However, the points noted when you approve only go to the 'vote' for the submission, not to your account. I had asked about that a while back, as it was confusing to me too. The algorithm decides your level based on the number of subs and approvals, but YOU don't get 8 points for each. It just adds your level 8 value to the submitter's value to reach at least 10 points for the submission to be approved. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair to lower level people if they only got 3 points and a higher person gets 8 points for the same info or click for approval. Perhaps some more info on the Verification page would help....

Discord seems to be just a self-published web comic by Bethany Heim, long since abandoned. I found these sites for it: https://comicfury.com/comicprofile.php?url=discord
https://discord.thecomicseries.com/comics/first
so apparently at some point she made the ashcans. Don't think these are worthy of listing, but not my call.

It appears it's Weird Science FANTASY that's the annuals you're looking for? Go here, click the Annual tab for #1,2, and see if the 'regular' 1-6 are what else you're looking for: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/weird-science-fantasy/xlvs

if you use the Issue Type drop down menu and choose Annual and Weird Fantasy for the title then the above title comes up.

you might also want to search for EC Archives for reprints too, by both Dark Horse and Gemstone.

the link you posted does not, it has extra stuff in it, like the 'geometry dash subzero' part, not sure how you got that.

I know they're different titles, but I blazed by the link in your post and missed seeing the Fantasy one, sorry about that. Always try to find and post pics or links to pics, it really helps. I thought I had found the right ones on comics.org (the Weird Science Fantasy ones) but just searched again and found these, which I think is what you want: https://www.comics.org/series/11236/ . bookmark that site for future use, it comes in handy.
if those are correct, please confirm, and an admin can get to adding those at some point. Or, if you want to practice submitting stuff yourself, you can submit those using the 'report missing issue' link at the very bottom of the right column on the Weird Science series page, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/weird-science/xlvq . you can copy the pics from the comics.org page to use. click the 'gallery' link under the pic on that comics.org page to see all the covers, and click those for bigger pics to copy and upload to CPG.

have fun..

just to cover the bases, if you submitted your own pic, it needs to be square-on, out of the bag, and cropped to the edges of the comic, no pro-graded, and with no watermarks. if you used a comics.org pic then you should be fine.

JLA: World War III

it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/jla/6trade_paper%20back/sjqxir

it's under the JLA 1997-2006 series, under the trade paperback tab, and is #6. That's how many TPBs are filed, under the regular series of the volume they reprint, and not listed in the search engine by the title of the story, so using World War III in the search turns up nothing.
also, for future use, posts like these go best on the Help Locating/Identifying OR the Database/Missing Issue board, as that's what you want to do. and they may get seen/answered faster too.

after doing multiple searches, including by story arc, it appears they are missing this. they have the 2016 2nd print tho. your pic won't show by the way, seems it's some apple image version so I couldn't save and open it with anything on my windows machine, so in the future it would be best to convert that to .jpg.

so I got a pic elsewhere and attached it for CPG to use.

normally, sorta, you can use the dropdown menu for the Comic Type field, and choose Trade Paper Back or sometimes similar stuff is under Softcover. So you'd just use JLA for the title (as many of these TPBs are not indexed by the story title itself with that search method), then choose the trade paperback Comic Type choice and hit search.

BUT you'll also get results for the regular series that HAVE TPBs, not the TPBs list itself, so you then have to know which series you want (whatever volume the TPB reprints stories from, so as noted that would be the 1997-2006 JLA series), go to that series' listing, then click on the Trade paperback TAB above the issue results. The Issue Type menu is fairly recent, so they don't have everything findable under all those choices yet. But when they don't have it listed at all, it makes it really hard to find smile

And you can use the top Price Guide menu to search by Story Arc too, but that's still in progress and there's many to add yet, and JLA WWIII isn't on there yet (even just using World War).
there's lots of quirks with the search that are not intuitive, so see this thread for my search tips (4th post down):
https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12110

https://comicspriceguide.com/faqs for a few How To answers about submitting missing images and reporting missing issues etc.

Watch CPG's 'How To' youtube videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3eOHtGDGIs0GGohUDuypf3TlQM2aupdo

that will help, and when you can't find something at all, then post in either of the 2 forums about it.

go to this page when logged in: https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data
go to the Creators tab, click in the Publishers box to show the list of publishers, click Dynamite Entertainment, then 'L' in the alphabet list of titles, then click the issue you want to edit. The submitted creators will have a trashcan icon next to them that only you can use. Click the icon, it will ask to verify you want to delete, do that, then you can go back to the comic listing, https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/looking-for-group/9/pjtyntx and add the correct name if needed, or if you just needed to delete Desouza, then you're done.

bookmark that Verify page for future use, and on that page where it says 'check your rank' in the top paragraph, bookmark that page too, it will show you your last 10 'hits, misses, and pending' subs and if any of your subs have been 'noped' so you know to fix them. They will also have Red 'minus' votes on the verify page if they were noped, and green if yupped, so you can check them there too. If you click the voting points link it will tell you why the member noped it. It takes 10 points for subs to be approved, and that's based on the membership level of those who verify stuff (anyone can verify once you get to level 1), so say if an 8 level member yups and a 2 or higher member yups, then it's approved and will be removed from the verify list. May take a few days before that happens sometimes, so be patient.

by the way, your submitted cover pics are getting turned down because they're not to CPG standards. They need to be square on, right side up 9youtrs are sideways), and cropped to the edges, and nice clear pics. Camera pics aren't usually very good, so if you don't have a scanner, find a good pic online (try https://comics.org). and copy and use that, long as it doesn't have watermarks like mycomicshop has. I didn't nope your pic for this comic so you can go delete the pic, now that you know the standards

have fun...
