3/30/2022 Topic: Creator Nicknames Casper0312	I’ve been noticing some creators now having nicknames assigned to them (eg: “Kevin Senft ‘Blond”). I also have noticed nickname duplicates also created for them (eg: Blond). I think this is happening because looking up a creator by Nickname requires you to use the leading apostrophe (‘). For example, if I want to find the Artist: Artgerm (as that might be what is in the credits), I wouldn't find them when adding to an issue using just Artgerm: However, if I use the apostrophe, you can get the correct artist: This works differently in the main creator lookup, which does allow for Nickname lookup: So, this is just a tip. If you are using an Artist's Nickname when entering creators on an issue, try using the apostrophe if they don't come up without. I definitely recommend trying multiple search methods before creating new artists. This might be by Nickname, by Last Name, or best practice is a 3 3 partial search which is the first three of the first name and first three of the last name, separated by a space. That finds me a match 80+% of the time. Hope this helps, David

4/3/2022 Topic: Insuring your collection Casper0312	Hi there... I was wondering what others are doing, if anything, to insure their comic book collection. Most regular HomeOwners or Renter policies require you to appraise and schedule each book individually. This is fine for some high end graded books, but even then there is a deductible and typically an 80% cap on cash value vs current market value. I've been seeing quite a marketing explosion for specialized collectible insurance companies such as Collectible Insurance Services, which claim they insure without appraisal for under $25k and seem to cover for many things excluded in my regular homeowners, including lost in mail nd offsite storage. Being me, this seems too good to be true and there must be something I am miss9ng. Do any of you have experience with any of these companies? Any you recommend or recommend to avoid? While I don't have the most valuable raw collection, I think it is time to start getting some good protection in place. Thoughts? -David

For finding all the Walmart variants, it sounds like you are performing a Title Search. Since Walmart variants are Exclusives, you should perform an Exclusives search. It is located under the Price Guide option in the main toolbar: If you then click the "W" for Walmart, it is the 3rd one down and has 144 issues tagged as an Exclusive Clicking then on the Walmart will give you the option to see all the Walmart Exclusives across Publishers or you can change the view to view just a single one.
