1/5/2019 Topic: Marvel Comics now at Walmart colbalt91	Today I found some Marvel 3 packs at my local Walmart. According to what I had read on the internet Marvel Comics were next supposed to pop up at Target. But here they are at Walmart. Each pack seems to have a different variant cover that has been previously released. The only difference is in the numbering. There was an article published a long time ago intimating that Marvel was going to clean up their shelves by filling the three packs with all these issues. The two comics behind the variants are older issues, which is true. However the variant is exclusive ... Though some would argue simply because the number of the print which is different. And that is the difference. One of the variants is the Venom annual which normally has the number 00111. This Venom annual looks identical except that the number is 00161. This annual had a second variant that went to stores and three other variants that you had to order exclusively from different outlets. So technically this is a variant, though many will argue not.

1/9/2019 Topic: Harley Quinn # 57 Red Hot colbalt91	Probably having a little to do with Frank Cho not doing the Harley Quinn variants anymore, and so many comic shops cut back, and then this Tedesco variant when wild. I had ordered myself two copies and I got them, but I would have ordered more if there was a little bit more skin. Oh well, better safe than sorry. This book was gone immediately and I don't even think it hit the shelves of many stores. Probably all the copies were spoken for before ahead of time.
1/10/2019 Topic: Harley Quinn # 57 Red Hot colbalt91	What may be following in the pattern of this Harley Quinn # 57 could be Wonder Woman # 62 variant next week. Jenny Frisson has dropped off the variants which will probably cause comic shops to cut their orders and there is this new fascinating cover that I ordered two of already and now I noticed it is sold out at Midtown super fast. The weird thing is the cover is not necessarily sexy like I like to order, but there is something fascinating about this cover.

1/12/2019 Topic: Whay if? #16: Shang-Chi Master of Kung Fu colbalt91	Probably not going up with anything to do with a movie. I'm afraid the PC culture will not allow Fu Manchu to be depicted in a movie by Disney. In fact I read they were reworking Shang-Shi's origin to not include Fu Manchu and any 'yellow' references. 1/17/2019 Topic: Glass by M Night Shyamalan colbalt91	M Night Shyamalan is back with a sequel to Split and a sort of follow-up sequel to Unbreakable, as it seems it was never intended to have a sequel. I mean 19 years later... Really . Anyway I think what really stimulated this movie is the idea of making a bunch of money on another superhero movie. M Night Shyamalan has sold out and gone for the money. However, when you watch this movie his sell-out does not really affect his style. Glass continues in the same style as many of M. Night Shyamalan's previous films with very long extended psychological motivations. So, if you like Night Shyamalan you will like this movie. And if you don't like his films you may show up just to see another superhero movie.

2/6/2019 Topic: Harley Quinn # 57 Red Hot colbalt91	I see it as being in high demand at any convention that Jim Lee attends in that it is a perfect comic for him have signed. Not only that, but it is three to four weeks out and is already sold out at Diamond and it was sold out at least a week ago.
2/6/2019 Topic: Harley Quinn # 57 Red Hot colbalt91	Today I saw they are delaying the book by three weeks and adding nine pages to it and keeping the price the same. Now I think they may open it up to more orders so it won't be as exclusive as it could have been. So the Batgirl number 23 comparison is probably not justified anymore.

3/6/2019 Topic: Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson colbalt91	This movie featuring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel hits you over the head with women's lib. It starts out as a sort of Star Wars type film and you can't help but find yourself thinking that sooner or later there will be a crossover between Marvel superheroes and Disney's Star Wars. Then it sort of becomes a detective movie once they get down to earth, the planet. Then towards the end it ramps up as a Marvel superhero type movie. I like the movie, but boy do you get a ear full of women's lib.
3/18/2019 Topic: Autographs/Signatures on Comics! colbalt91	Sort of pertaining to what you said about signatures being faked at conventions, I once saw a newscast from Houston of a female reporter who said she was waiting for a professional forger to show up and she was going to try to pass off a forged baseball card to professional graders for Upper Deck much like the comic book CGC. Her forger never showed up so she forged the signature of an attending famous baseball player herself and took it to the graders and they authenticated it. So then she turned almost immediately to the camera and started broadcasting about what had she had done. A manager for the graders appeared and was trying to interrupt her, and try to explain how it could have possibly happened. edited by colbalt91 on 3/18/2019
