Variant submission instructions have been posted on the forums (especially this forum) tons of times, so a search should have turned up one, but depends on your search terms. but if you don't use or read the forums much, you may not have seen those posts. but now you have basics for the next time.

is it this one (pic attached)?

could be it's not in .jpg or .png format, or too big a file?

man, I missed that what I attached is #1, not #8, der. got it off an e*** search for grendel 8 variant and missed that the result said #1. I find no variant for #8 other than the newsstand version, so can you attach a pic? #1 has a 1st and second print, but same cover, and CPG has both and the newsstand, so need to see a pic of what you have, or some link to one.

can you post a link to the one you see on mycomicshop? for the 1986 comico series #8, I only see one #8 there, no variant. If you mean it's the direct edition vs the newsstand CPG has, then better to state that. I for one don't count 'newsstands' as variants, just newsstand edition. so got a pic off comics.org for the direct edition of #8 and submitted it ok. 'course, had to submit it as a variant or post it here, so submitted it as the direct variant.

So as far as listing the books, newsstand and direct are one and the same here on CPG. That will make it easy on me to list some books.

Do you have a picture or link to the book?? Korea isn't a country CPG have books listed for but it can be added.

it's ok, but still trying to find out what 'variant' of #8 you're trying to get on here? have you checked the image's file name? others have tried to attach pics or upload them here that didn't work because of oddball characters in the file name that messes up the system, so wonder if that's the error message problem? so simple names like 'grendel-8-variant.jpg' work best. I had no trouble submitting the direct version earlier, so dunno why the system doesn't like yours.

CPG doesn't use pics of signed comics generally. found and attached a pic of #2, apparently there's 3 issues, but others I found at the usual sites were all watermarked. e*** had a couple, but lousy camera pics. mycomicshop has info CPG can use too.

I see you had this prob last fall, and no one from CPG came along to explain. doing a google search on that phrase gets a ton of answers all above my limited code knowledge. can you attach the image to a post and maybe someone else can add it for you, or maybe see what the problem is? sometimes it's the file name having a weird character or spaces.

I got a pic of it off comics.org and submitted it with no problem. what are you naming the file? if you have '1/2' in it, it may not work, as my system warns me that no slashes are allowed in the file name.

comics.org shows 8 covers, CPG has 4, so if you want to go copy the ones CPG doesn't have, and submit them using the missing variants button, have at it. https://www.comics.org/issue/1702584/cover/4/

also, note to admin-- CPG has the title misspelled so I couldn't find it till I searched just Avengelyne. Seraphicide is misspelled as Seraphacide, so the second A is wrong. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/avengelyne-seraphacide/0.5/plpynx
