Duh, my bad. I have the pages for the various series that I get every month bookmarked, and I accidentally bookmarked the "issues I own" page instead of the "all issues" page for that one series. |

I was pondering the fact that, frankly, nothing in CPG ever seems to go down below cover price. And we all know that's truly not fair. I assume everything goes into the database at cover price (with that little 1-cent rounding-up), and then unless something happens in the algorithm to make it go up, it just stays at that amount.
I wonder if it wouldn't be more honest if everything that has a cover price of equal-to or more than $1, and is still valued at cover price at NM in the DB, wasn't just lowered to $1. Something like that.
Another question - in another thread, someone commented that the CPG algorithm is outdated. I hate to ask this in a CPG thread, but is there someone else online with a better algorithm? |

Well, let's review what the 'value' of a comic is supposed to be: the average price that the comic has sold by a retailer to a consumer across the country/world. Is anybody really paying $4.00 for like "Captain America and the Mighty Avengers" #3 from a couple of years ago? So even if it is a bad thing for retailers that people are selling these comics for a dollar (or less, there are always '3 for a dollar" boxes out there), that doesn't change the fact that people are selling them for a dollar, and the price guide should in some way reflect that.
The notion of putting them all in at $1 might be going a little far in the other direction, but it was just a simple plan. Slightly more accurately would be to drop them all to $1 after 2-3 years (unless they have clearly been established as selling for more in the secondary market), but just not sure if that is mechanically more feasible.
I'm not even really concerned about the initial sale price. Although if I was, I'd suggest you have to take into account retailer pull-box discounts of 10% all the way up to like 40-50% for places like Discount Comic Book Service. I'd say the *average* sales price of a $3.99 book is less than $3.99, if you take into consideration those discounts. |

When viewing Unsorted comics, I am not given the Box options to move them to another box collectively. Currently I would have to edit each one individually. |

Actually, now the "put it in a different box" stuff on the right side has disappeared completely even when entering new issues. |

You are correct. It did disappear, I have located it and put it back.
On the Unsorted comics page, I now have the box-selection drop-down, and the Create Box and Print Box buttons, but no "move comics to this box" button to move the selected comics to the box I have chosen. |

Is there an option to have the toolbar on the right slide downward as one scrolls down? So that if I mark an issue near the bottom of the page and want to move it to a box, I don't have to scroll all the way back up to the top to get to the Move to Box button. |

Refreshing page jumps back to top

Scenario: I am looking at my issues of Justice League of America. I have 50 issues at a time showing on the page. I want to move the issues near the bottom to various boxes.
I click on the checkbox next to an issue, and then I indicate the box it should go in and click Move to Box.
The page refreshes (which is good, I like that new addition) but it seems like today when it refreshes, it takes me back to the top of the list. I could have sworn earlier it was taking me back to the issue I just moved.
Today I am having to scroll back down to the bottom of the page every time I move one of the issues to a box to move the next one. edited by glennsim on 2/10/2018 |

Site is slow/has failures

I've noticed over the last couple of months that the site is moving much slower than in the past, and often throws an error when I am changing the condition of a comic or moving it to a box. Seems like about half the time, it takes me more than one try to do these things, and the delay while it tries (only the fail) takes up a lot of time. |

Just to mention, weirdly, I did a search for: Batman Official and Batman Movie and this doesn't show up on the list, and then I click the link here, and then I did the Batman Official again and it worked. |
