Hello there everyone,
I'm newsgirl1972 I have some not so young comics laying around the oldest is from 2007. Almost all my comic are sleeved and board from the day I bought them. except supergirl #23 January 2008, she is just sleeved. my question is my comic minted or gem minted?here is a picture of the type of comic I have http://i.imgur.com/ddNDjI9.jpg. It's batgirl new 52 #1.

Welcome to the boards newsgirl1972...To answer you very noob question, No it's neither.
Both Mint & Gem Mint are rare grades only seen with/by professionally graded services eg: CGC, CBCS. That is slabbed or is encased in special plastic.
Although if your book is as good as the day you bought it then it would be NM 9.4 (Near Mint) which is about as good as it will be raw...meaning yours is raw even though it's in a bag & has a backing board.
