Hey team
I am just wondering what sort of time frame there is on updating missing variant covers? I've posted in this thread and used the missing variant button in the relevant issues but no luck and that was 2 months ago.
Something I thought might be useful is when you add a new cover using the button that the request is logged as if you have made a request to add an artist/writer/editor etc etc then at least it's easier to track than checking back every couple of weeks
If it matters for the answer I added 2 premiere variants 1 for poe dameron #1 and 1 for avengers: assault on pleasanthill alpha
Cheers

I know the front page staff has been adding some, but there are a lot to go through. Some may be mis-identified as already being added. When I get some time, I try to clear out the ones that people just did not know how to search for to make the front page staff's job a bit easier in that regard.

Hi, I submitted a missing variant of the Guest of Honor: Neil Gaiman ashcan (red cover). All the ones I've seen are signed and numbered.

I looked in the variants that need to be approved and there isn't a Poe Dameron #1 or an Avengers book in the list. So either someone has already approved it or it was deleted for some reason. You'll have to look and let me know if it's there now.
Recently we lowered the number of variants to zero and proudly announced it. That sent a flood of new variants for approval. Currently we have 200 books across all publishers waiting approval. Not bad when you consider the number of variants released each week.
In general, some of the numbers on this site are insane. Over 10,000 issues were added to people's collection yesterday. Almost 16,000 new users have been on the site this week and we are in the slow season. The blog is up 187% from last year according to Google. The point is that we are growing and people are putting in more and more information that needs to be approved. You can help. By submitting variants, like you've been doing and by going to this page and confirming data. https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data R

Hi Ron, I had tried to submit it via my phone but it doesn't seem to have uploaded. I've resubmitted the Guest of Honor - Red Cover (Chicago Comic con I believe) via missing variants.

Basement, I've added the Guest of Honor book. Never seen that book before.
Helpful hint - If you give us a good cover scan it speeds up the process. A good scan is focused, no glare and squared off (no side angles) Enjoy your weekend everyone, R

What about the Loot Crate variants? I know I have half a dozen manga titles from them and none of them are in this database. Are you planning on adding them?

I would like to see the Canadian Price Variants added. These comic folks have already made a price guide for these variants:
https://rarecomics.wordpress.com/the-2019-price-guide-for-1980s-newsstand-canadian-cover-price-variants-type-1a/
If there is some way I could help with the uploading I would be happy to help
