I guess I have been investing since the early 90's, buying some GA, but mostly SA keys. My biggest ever spend was $5600 (bought from Metropolis comics) on a CGC 7.5 X-Men #1, which I am sure I could sell for a pretty tidy return today. There are many, many other books I have bought over the years that I hope will provide me with good returns as well.
I wish you well on your investment journey. It is a great way to stay with our passion for comics.
edited by Crowman on 2/2/2018

Hey Hombre,

I've been trying to find your site, but all I find is either a pink webpage with a picture of a beach or a whole schwack of fantasy football stuff. Any other potential link/page I try redirects me to the pink/beach page, every link, over...and over...and over... I'm I missing a secret handshake? Is this a thread from the cicada 3301 curiosity?

~Aces,
dMc

edited by aatrappswhatsitshoppe on 1/18/2018
edited by aatrappswhatsitshoppe on 1/18/2018
edited by aatrappswhatsitshoppe on 1/18/2018

I am in the same boat. After spending so much time and energy collecting i realized that as long as i stay informed and smart about what i am buying, Every dollar i spend on comics could easily bring back a 10 % profit and thats equal to what i will get on most investment accounts. My initial investment was a batman #1 (new 52) . Two weeks after owning i had an offer for a 30% profit.
edited by chrisedaigle on 7/13/2016
