https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-nightwatcher/1/pitvjrs
I submitted him on that issue the way CPG has him in the creator's database (Fernando Peniche), but this name stuff is a pain and happens with tons of artists on here. I don't know who enters the subtitles and why they sometimes choose a nickname that's not what the normal database has, unless the publisher used that name in the issue's credits instead of a full name. too many artists go by various names, initials, spellings, some have the 'accent' mark over a vowel but that may or may not be how the database has it, so you can't find them to add unless you know about the accent mark thing. Like David Baldeon, who has an accent mark on the O, but won't come up if you don't use that, and I can't get my keyboard to make the correct accent mark despite the various instructions online. He should come up whether you use the accent mark or not, wish CPG would fix that. I know if you type like balde then it will give choices of creators that start like that, and his name comes up then. so it has an 'autofill' function to a degree.
this is Fernando's creator profile page: https://comicspriceguide.com/creators/fernando-peniche-fero
one of the quirks I keep forgetting is that, like with Fero, since that's a nickname and you'd have to know that, is you have to put single quote marks around it to have it come up in the database when you're adding him to an issue, as in 'Fero'. Otherwise using just Fero comes up with nothing.
edited by collectibleshop on 2/11/2025

Adding some "TMNT: Nightwatcher" issues I noticed that CPG credits an artist named "Fero Pe." Looking at other sources they listed the artist as "Fero Peniche." I googled the name and saw it both ways. Im not sure if a correction is needed to put his full name for precision or if the short version is what he specifically goes by. I tried to look and didnt find anything. Anyone know the details on this?
