On March 16, 2024 I submitted a missing variant of this book. Personally I think the book I listed is not a variant but is the original #1 book of this series. I believe that the CPG listed #1 book is a variant. I would be grateful if someone would check this out and let me know if I am right or wrong. Either way, it would be nice to get my book listed. Thanks

David Thanks for taking an interest in this, but I will not be any help at all. I do not know what drop a link means. I tried to post a cover picture but I am in the wrong format; whatever that means. I was able to post a cover picture when I submitted my book as a variant back in March if that would be any help. It is an Image comic book. Thanks--Roy

We're gonna need more specific info. WHICH TPB from which volume/year? post the link to the CPG listing, that would help a lot. And 'drop a link' means find an image on the net, copy the website URL and paste it in a post. e**y is probably your best bet to find the same one you have, or possibly the publisher's site. then we know what to look for so they can add it, since you can't. tip on ebay links--you only need to copy it to the end of the item number, not the 8000 characters after that. there's over 400 listings for 'Witchblade 1 (trade, tpb)' without using any 'minus' words, so have fun..

Okay, you probably know already when ever I try to do what you say, this machine tells me I am in the wrong format. So that is out. I found this book at My Comic Shop. According to them I am wrong in my earlier statement. This book is, WITCHBLADE #1 TPB - 2011 TOP COW - 2nd printing - ISBN 13-987-1-58240-885-9. I did put a picture of my cover on the CPG report missing variant site. It has been there since this past March. I'm at a lost. Roy

A link TO a pic or website listing is just text, like http:// etc, you should be able to do that, no 'format' required. Link to MCS's list of what I think is the ones you're asking about: https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=13813711
Is this the one?
That's what Amazon matches for the ISBN number, although they have the 987 as 978, but I just used the last ten numbers, had to remove the dashes. Found one on e**y that stated 2nd print, looks the same. The pic I posted pic links to CPG's pic, so format will be correct, no saving it to upload required. Can tell you how to do that if you want, but all you really need to do is post the text link to CPG's listing (or another site if CPG doesn't have an issue), then all people have to do is click that to see the image(s). This is the link to the series of that particular group: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/witchblade-tpb/uhtyl . all you need to do is copy the URL (https) address and paste it in the post, or type it in if you don't know how to copy/paste. That TPB collects 'Witch Hunt' which is a good thing to mention in the future, as there's many Witchblade tpbs, compendiums etc. The more details the better to find stuff. I didn't detect a difference in the cover on MCS's site between 1st and 2nd prints, so does your 2nd print look any different? And you and the admins are the only ones who can see the variant pic you submitted, so if it's still there, ron or casper or xvipah or another admin should be able to see it and confirm if we're talking about the same book. that's about all I can do, hope it helps. edited by collectibleshop on 9/16/2024 edited by collectibleshop on 9/16/2024

This is the right series. My cover does not have the 'only $4.99' tag. The covers are the same except for the price tag. I checked and the number is 978, that was my typing error. edited by 54LISA05 on 9/16/2024

ok, good to know. I totally missed the cover price difference, I was looking for art differences. EDITED FROM ORIGINAL POST TO FIX MISTAKE IN PRINTINGS. so 1st prints have the 4.99 price on them, 2nd and later have no price on the cover. you didn't answer about doing text links, or if your variant pic is still showing to you on the listing page. I attached a pic of the 2nd print for them to use. I submitted the 4.99 price for the 1st print tho. edited by collectibleshop on 9/17/2024

I attached a pic of the 1st print for them to use. One database site says it's 9.99 yet MCS says same $4.99, so CPG can finish researching and decide which is correct. based on MCS cover price of 14.99 for #2, I'd guess 9.99 for #1 is correct. I submitted the 4.99 price for the 2nd print tho.
My book has 2nd printing and price of $9.99. This is the cover picture and it is still listed where I posted. I sure hope this gets straighten out. Thanks, you are always a great help--Roy

well damn, looks like I got it backwards on the prices/editions then. MCS shows 1st printing as $4.99 with the 4.99 printed on the cover, which is correct apparently and what I added to the CPG listing. but MCS lists the 2nd-up for 4.99 too, but they're not always right either. so since you own it and it says 9.99 and is a second print, then MCS is wrong. so all CPG has to do is approve the image (if it's up to cropping standards and all) or use the one I attached previously and slap 2nd print and 9.99 on it. dunno why it's sat there for so long, so maybe casper or another admin will get it added for you soon. I edited my previous post now to correct my mistake that's quoted in your reply. man I hate reprints....
