Which one best describes you?
I am a reader and a collector. I don't really speculate on comics.

Reader/Collector here as well.
I do sell quite a bit, but I'm not a "speculator" I just have been clearing out some of my old books and stuff I don't want anymore. Owning a comic book just to own it just stopped making sense to me, I should have a reason I want to own it

Reader/Collector. Started as a reader, then morphed into, dare I say, a hoarder! lol Actually my wife bought me a t-shirt that says "It's not hoarding if it's comic books" No I read online to keep up but collect the issues for an investment to pass on to my kids/grandkids.

Reader/Collector for sure. Try to read everything I buy or at least buy a trade to read the issues.

I used to be a reader back in the 70's, now I am a collector, hoping to have a little something to leave the grand kids...

Definitely a reader and collector. I speculated a little bit about ten years ago but haven't don't that in a long time. I just enjoy the hobby now when it isn't totally dominated by the spec game. Probably looking to downsize at some point in the next few years.

I have >8k comics.
Reader - I have read every single one of them.
Collector - I sold ONE comic.

Hybrid - Reader mostly, Ive read every comic I own and many are re-read. Collector as I like to have consecutive issues or full runs and will buy multi covers of same books. I also like to display comics at home. Seller, or more like a wanna be seller. I buy to later sell and want to sell at least half a 1,500 comic collection, but hard to let go of some. Dang I still miss my "Punisher" comics I sold. I bought the 1st issue of all "Punisher" specials, summer, back to school, holiday, ect, off the shelf and would look forward to the next season's special. Hopefully now in good hands.

Reader/ Collector. I rarely sell any of my books and only if I can find its replacement in a better grade. If I like the story or character, I might look to "invest" in a book but never with the intention of selling. It usually has more to do with having something to leave my kids.
