Hi,
Good you're using the tools and adding covers, especially the tons of 'exclusive' variants CPG may not get copies of. But for the admins and others sake for time, you don't need to also post stuff here if you've submitted it thru the Missing Variant tool, that's just duplicating the effort and makes people read posts that aren't necessary, no offense. same with doing separate posts for single issues, just put them all in one when you don't have pics to upload with the Missing Variant tool and are alerting CPG of missing variants. Thanks.

I've always used the tool and have had to follow up here to things I've posted a half year ago just to get noticed. I do it because I don't even know if the tool works most of the time as it never shows anything pending from me as well as it never saves the cover price I input.

ok, understandable, and they do miss or get way behind in adding variants. you do know how to check for what you've submitted?

it works when I submit variants and bother to go look again later--either says 'pending' or the pic is approved and showing. but you're not the only one who's experienced super slow approval, but they get hundreds of variants a week these days, and don't get all the store exclusives, so they have to rely on members for many of those. sometimes stuff gets turned down because the pic is too big, wrong format or corrupted, or a Previews solicitation version that's not the production version, and CPG won't tell you that when they turn it down, usually, so you don't know.
an admin can weigh in on this. I think it's better to try and contact them directly when something is taking forever to get approved, but it's not against the rules to post about it again (they don't want a second submission tho). I don't submit variants unless I'm doing it to help a member get it done, so rarely go check later to see if it's been added, so not sure how many get lost in the shuffle.
