I'm not exactly sure what's happening in your case but I can speak to the app and site interaction. The site database and the app are linked together. The app gets all of its data from the website database. There could be a minor delay between the two but at the most, it would be 15 minutes.

I have had something similar happen when I didn't update my want list and then went out and bought the same book. Usually I keep the best one and then sell the extra.
Ron

I don't know if anybody else has had this problem. When I'm out buying back issues, I'll use the "Collection" tab on the CPG mobile app to check which issues I have and which I need, then purchase accordingly. Once I'm home I'll go to the CPG website on my laptop to enter the issues I purchased. Several times now, when I go to enter the issues I didn't think I had, the website will now say that I have those issues already. Those issues weren't in my collection on the app earlier that day!! I do not add them while I'm on the app because I prefer to add details I can only do on the proper website.
It's somewhat annoying when it's $1-$2 comics, but very aggravating when it's $25+ comics. It's unlikely I'd recoup that same amount if I were to try and resell that comic.
The only good thing that has come out of it is that I've ended up with a few copies that were in better shape than the ones I already owned.
Anybody else??
-gage
