glorkar wrote:

This one has got me in the past. This title is very convoluted and confusing. The only "true" way to search for it is to not search for "classics illustrated" like every other book. There are so many variants for each issue that they each get their own main listing. For instance, this Tom Sawyer book has 15 different versions just on it's own. So for any Classics Illustrated, you need to put the story title and issue number in the name search box (so search for "tom sawyer 50" and it comes right up).

huh, glokar is right, just tried his method. so edited my 1st reply. it SHOULDN'T work that way since no other titles I've looked for work with having the issue number in the title field, but it does for this series. it also works with just classics illustrated and the story title with no issue number, but I swear it didn't the other day.

so CPG has a weird glitch in the matrix for this title. searching for this title should work like all the others, but it doesn't.

this title seems to have a search problem for individual issues. you can search by Publisher in that search box and get to the Gilberton Classics Illustrated title under their C titles, and scroll down and find it, but for some reason some don't come up by themselves if you use Classics Illustrated and the issue number in the normal manner, but others do, otherwise all that comes up are the newer C.I. Study Guides. If you search just Classics Illustrated, then #50 comes up down the page as it should, so did you not try that?
it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classics-illustrated-50--adventures-of-tom-sawyer/pnvuh
edited by collectibleshop on 6/15/2022
