We have several things that we are working on but this one is finished. When you type in the main search bar you can type the Title, the UPC, or the ISBN number.
I have to say this caveat, this only works IF the UPC or ISBN numbers are in our system. We do have one of our admins adding UPC numbers to new books after we add them to the system. So for titles with several volumes, this should speed up your search. I just typed the UPC for Amazing Spiderman 79, 75960608936907911 and it came up.
When they first started adding UPC on books they repeated the same number every year. So some results might have as many as 10 possible choices.
Amazing Spider-man 166 has the same UPC 0714860245703 as
Amazing Spider-man 178
Amazing Spider-man 190
Amazing Spider-man 202
Amazing Spider-man 214
Amazing Spider-man 226
Amazing Spider-man 238
Amazing Spider-man 250
Amazing Spider-man 262
Amazing Spider-man 274

This definitely helps for older titles or books with multiple variants. For instance, if you search for 'batman 1', there are almost 2000 hits. But by using the UPC, the exact book you are looking for comes right up.
