I only have #1 of this title in hand. Sam Hill Private Eye published by Close-Up Inc. Copyright 1950. Any one ever heard of this one? Not in this database.

seems it's not listed. comics.org lists it, under Archie as the parent publisher with Close-Up. Shows 7 issues: https://www.comics.org/series/19973/
so more for CPG to add...

Didn't a Marvel character refer back to Sam Hill? Ben Grimm maybe?
I knew about the character. Is this actually a comic? or is it mainly text inside?
