Yeah. The last issue says "#80 in a four issue limited series."
They continued the numbering and it didn't stop at #4.

Transformers came out when I'd outgrown toys and wasn't watching cartoons anymore. My friend insisted that I own the last issue of this series because he felt it was undervalued and that it would be worth a lot more over time. He gave me a copy and pointed that out to me. I thought it was amusing also.
