Hi there, just wanted to get some prof opinions. I was looking at the Foil Series Hulk #1. Harvestor and CGC are charging a fortune for these issues. I mean they look really cool and you can gem mint. But what's the real value of these comics? Will they ever reach the value that they are asking for them ($299 for silver foil graded 10)? Is it just a come on to pad their pockets? I know they released Amazing Fantasy 15 and Avengers 4 foils first. Thanks in advance.

Hello Chuck, first off let me state I'm defiantly not a professional, however I may be able answer some of you question. My perspective is the the foil series Hulk #1 is a collectible that has a value not just for being an awesome replica comic (that I would never open if I owned it, nor get it graded as it would remove it from it's collectible tin) but also due the the comic book being wrapped in 1 oz of .999 fine silver which currently has a value of $28.60 US dollars per oz. This piece is truly a collectors item as there were only 1000 printed, and it comes in a collectible tin. Now on the price, I've found a few for sale for around 120.00. Someone charging $299.00 is hoping to hook someone with a mark up. Hoped this helped a bit, have a good one!
