after researching it, it's either cuz they just missed it all this time, or they consider it a BOOK book, not a comic book, as it excerpts various pages from that series, and has an art gallery section, so not some ongoing story or reprint of a whole story. Ron may be able to shed some light on this.

Based on my research it's recreating Akira with the Simpsons so it would be a comic book. This isn't complete but our rules don't say the book has to be complete to be listed. I've added it to the system.
