I know of that site and have used it too, but to get better and more info you have to pay there too. They also don't have as complete a database for CGC prices, as multiple comics I looked up last fall (all mainstream big company moderns from the 1990s mostly) had 'no market price info yet' despite enough copies being graded and sold to have SOME kind of market estimate, in my opinion. But you can get some free price info from recent sales anyway.
edited by collectibleshop on 1/14/2019

The only reputable site to get actual SALES values for CGC graded comics is comics.gpanalysis.com. But you have to pay $10.95 a month for that info. You can look up some certification numbers, but not all. Easier to just search for the title and issue number. You can join for a month, cancel it, and rejoin months later to check for new sales and trends if you want, or a yearly subscription is $119 US if you plan to do enough buying to make that worthwhile. I don't know if anyone is doing that info for CBCS comics, so doing your own searches for those on closed auctions etc. is your best bet.

CPG's CGC values have historically been well off the mark, both high and way low, so I don't recommend using this site for graded comics values.
edited by collectibleshop on 1/13/2019
edited by ronbatman on 1/14/2019

No, there is no function here to put in a CGC or CBCS number to find value, nor does any third party grading company give this information of what books are going for.

If you look at the price guide on this site, you will see values of third party graded books. The graded books values are listed under “graded books” on every book listed on site. You should use the area on this site listed as “SEARCH COMICS” to look up a comic you are looking for value.....
The graded books values should be a starting point of what a book might be valued at and what you might pay for such book. Most people use other sites search engines to see completed auctions or sold auctions to get a feel of what a book is selling for. You need to do some work and look around this site to help yourself.
Just remember price guides are just that, a guide and are not 100% accurate but some are pretty close of over all prices.
