My LCS just bought a huge collection of signed books (life long father/son project), but with thousands of books to go through, they settled for putting them out on the cheap, without identifying the signatures on the books. I've gotten some really great books and signatures, some taking a lot of work to identify. There is one more I am stumped on:
Union vol. 1 #0. There are 4 signatures: Whilce Portacio, Alex Garner, Ryan Benjamin, and one other right at the bottom. I have scoured the internet looking at autographs for anyone else named in the inside cover, but have come up empty. If you have any clues, let me know.

Story: Mike Heisler Pencils: Ryan Benjamin Inks: Tom McSweeney and Chuck Gibson Color: Wendy Fouts Cover Art: Whilce Portacio and Alex Garner Interior Pinups: Mike McKone and Mark McKenna Created by: Jim Lee and Mike Heisler
I checked on all of these, but wasn't convinced that any of them are responsible for the bottom signature. Maybe I'm wrong.

It does not look like Jim Lee https://forums.episodeinteractive.com/t/comic-book-graphic-novel-chat/831/21
Hard to find examples of comic artist signatures on the web. My guess would be Gibson - but that is only a guess.
Two ways to know - 1) send to CGC or CBCS and have signature authenticated. 2) Email each artist and ask them. Sorry I do not have a better answer.. Or you could simply enjoy it the way it is.

Gibson was the signature I found that was the closest (though not fully convinced), so maybe that's it. I'm certain its not Jim Lee, I have 3 other books signed by him. I bought the book as I am trying to get all of the Whilce Portacio puzzle covers that go with this one. The first time I've seen this book in years was with these signatures on it. I really only noticed Portacio's signature at the time, ignoring the others. When I finally sat down to look at it, I was kind of surprised. It's obviously signed by more people, but I can be sorta clueless at times!
Thanks for the help.

Not sure I was much help - but it was fun guessing!
