Something to look into, seems to be going for some bucks on Ebay from the sold listings. Something about cameo appearances of spider-gwen and lady thor

I think that these are costumes on trick or treaters and not first appearances. CGC doesn't recognise these as appearances. I think maybe CBCS says they are considered first appearances of the costumes.

I looked into this and Dylman is correct. The writer was asked about this and he said they were trick or treaters. So it's the first appearance of their costumes. It's a great issue to have since it predates the first appearances though. I've raised the value of that book to reflect the market. (It shows a down arrow because I tweaked it after my first price change. In reality it went up quite a bit.)

kds, I would have to agree! But if someone out there is spending money, and it creates a supply/demand type scenario, then more power to em, and if they feel its a legitimate issue that needs to be collected, well, I am all for it, if it increases my collection value. But sometimes it is kinda fun to watch the knee-jerk reactions to some of these speculations

It's a little strange to have the first appearance of a costume but Spider-man's costume/Venom symbiote has done pretty well. 
Personally I think it's a fun issue but I'm not going to be caught up in hype. When it dies down I might try to get a copy.
