Did anyone pick up anything interesting at Local Comic Book Shop Day over the weekend?
I found a store here in Indy who was offering 40% off back issues and statues. Picked up the Harley Quinn Statue that is my current icon for about $40 less than retail. BOOM!
I also got some Batman, House of Mystery, and old Mister Miracle issues. Good stuff

I bought the Cheryl Blossom and the shiny version of Blackbird #1(a shiny Bartel cover is just too much to resist for me). I hope to buy the Power Rangers Blind Box in the near future.

Is Blackbird worth reading? Is that issue on the site, I didn't see a shiny cover?

Buying Statues can get addictive. I have zero space to store or display most of mine, only rotating every so often to see them now.

There are so many things to buy. Comics, Statues, Original art, Action figures, and on and on. Currently I have three favorite statues, Hughes Catwoman, a Massive Planet Hulk and my new Harley Quinn.

I haven't read it yet. I subscribed to the series at my local comic store mainly because Jen Bartel is doing the art. The book should be in the listings but any images of it are not going to show that it is a card stock foil cover. I thought it was just a regular comic until I got to the store last week and saw that it was shiny! Shiny? Jen Bartel cover? Count me in! (I think only 500 were printed, too, So that helps. I think the Cheryl Blossom and Aliens had an even lower run count)
