As of today, (October 24th) we have implemented a feedback system. To access this both parties have to mark the limbo box. (paid for seller, received comic for buyer)

Buyers can now leave a positive, neutral or negative feedback. Buyers can check previous feedback to see what kind of seller this is. When they do this, they will be able to see the feedback and the date. (not the item) We don't want to broadcast your purchases to the world.

Sellers can now reply one time to that feedback. If you get a nice positive you can say, "Thank you". Build goodwill and all. If you get a negative you can explain your view. We are working on a "Make it right" feature that will allow the negative to turn into a neutral. Your feedback will determine your percentage on the site. Neutral doesn't count against you.

Our goal is to create a better situation for both buyers and sellers. There are sellers on the site who don't respond to buyers and this is the start to weed them out. For great sellers we want you to get the credit you deserve.

Let me know if you have questions,
Ron

Great, this will be much appreciated. Thanks!! Will we be able to give negative feedback to those sellers that never respond to offers? (I know of 5 of them of the top of my head smile ) I assume they're never on the site any more anyways. Or will there have to be a transaction in order to give feedback? Thanks

Rixmax, there will be phases to the feedback system. Our first phase was planning, creating and implementing this piece. (Bryan is a magical wizard of programming) The two other pieces that we want to tackle are responsiveness to buyers and a way for a seller to remove negative feedback by "making it right" with the buyer. That might include further explanation or a refund or returning the item. There are great people and jerks on both sides of the transaction so we want to cover all aspects.

We are daily trying to improve the site sometimes users see the daily value changes, book additions, variant organization and sometimes it's only on the backend. Every day we are making things better.

Variants - Have you noticed the new system? Look at Batman #50. Now exclusives have a name attached to them instead of just a letter, different printings are labeled and then regular publisher variants have letters. Since we had so many variants, exclusives and printings we changed our system to better describe them.

So how does one go about placing feedback? I just bought and received 15 books, after I marked them received I didn't see any place to input positive feedback. Where do I go? Thanks

The feedback system right now only works if the seller marks "payment received" and the buyer marks "books received".

Buttonman (seller) did mark "payment received" and I marked "books received" but I saw nothing to input any feedback.

Did you check this page? https://comicspriceguide.com/your-sales/
On the right side at the bottom is a link for sales feedback. Mine has zero because I don't have any open for feedback but yours should have a number there.

I'm trying to give Buttonman positive feedback for the 15 books I bought from her.

So do completed sales transactions only help the sellers towards raising their member rankings or do they help the buyers also? Thanks

Same issue for me. I sold a book, marked as payment received, buyer marked as received, not feedback to speak of :/
