Some sellers here are have deals then vanish is it possible to find out how long since they have been active and or if they have a personal e-mail address/phone number to get in touch with them?
I have about 20 deals from one seller that have accepted but he never came/comes back to the site and one that has been in limbo for a LONG time

A rating system or approved seller list of some kind has been suggested. Look for other forum topics on this.
I have suggested CPG hold monthly auction of vetted sellers - eBay is a strange mix of retail stores at full retail plus prices - whose staff puts comics on eBay and semi-professionals with unrealistic expectations. A collector to collector exchange with both parties being realistic could be useful.
CPG has a Facebook page but it appears to be filled with more professionals and people with unrealistic expectations - just my opinion
Most folks who have been here two years or more are pretty responsive and responsible.
I sell at regional conventions so once in a great while I sell the same item twice - usually catch before I accept offer. This is very rare occurrence for me.
Hope this helps KDS

I can look up someone's account and let you know if they've signed in recently. I cannot give out their email address because of our privacy policy. (they can give it to you, if they choose) If you have someone who repeatedly won't respond let me know and I'll see what kind of thing we can do to eliminate their sales from our system.

A "quick" way to give buyers some confidence is to greatly expand the Home Page section "SOLD" list of comics with the seller listed. Then buyers will have an idea of recent past performance of sellers that a transaction actually occurred and books were received. Instead of the "View All Sales" link taking you to all comics for sale - make a "More Comics Sold" list to take the link to e to a long list of recent comics SOLD by issue, seller and price. edited by kds_comics on 10/16/2018
