Five months now since I made this request..... and a whole bunch of others.
Is it okay now to feeling pissed off"..... or is it just me being unreasonable?

I just looked in the cue for variants and there are only 29 issues and these aren't included. So I'm guessing you put it on the forum only. I'm sorry that we didn't add it yet, I'll take care of this today.
In the future please submit all variants into the system so that they do not get buried or overlooked.

Hi Ron. I have been putting my requests in the wrong area? How do I submit a variant then?

Hey Crowman, I'm not sure how you've been putting in your requests, but I think it's been through the forums. What you should do is use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books.
- Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant.
- Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
- You should see a red box titled "! Report Missing Variants". For me this displays on the right side below any listed variants.
- Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting. This includes what its called, price, artist, publication date, etc. To me the valuable part is being able to upload an image of the cover. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
Yes, this is a much different process than reporting completely missing issues or titles. That is still done through the Missing Issues forum which is what I think you've been using for missing variants. Any time I've reported missing variants through the variant system the books have been added quickly, usually within a few days.
Hope this helps.
Cheers! Jim

I completed a couple of submittals. One was a pair of variants (ASM #801 Mayhew) that I put both books on the one form. Hope that is ok?

Hey Guys,
Coming up to two months now since you put me right on how to submit missing variants. I have submitted so many now but nada.... no action taken.
Sure, it has been Christmas and the year end, but as we get further into February surely I can expect some action taken?

all I can say is this is what ronbatman posted in this thread in Jan: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic6009-adding-missing-variants.aspx
"....Recently we lowered the number of variants to zero and proudly announced it. That sent a flood of new variants for approval. Currently we have 200 books across all publishers waiting approval. Not bad when you consider the number of variants released each week.
In general, some of the numbers on this site are insane. Over 10,000 issues were added to people's collection yesterday. Almost 16,000 new users have been on the site this week and we are in the slow season. The blog is up 187% from last year according to Google. The point is that we are growing and people are putting in more and more information that needs to be approved. You can help. By submitting variants, like you've been doing and by going to this page and confirming data. https://comicspriceguide.com/verify-data"
so maybe Ron will drop in and update you, or you can PM him.
