You guys need to step up. People pay for this service and we are a couple days after new books and they aren't in the database. I'm about to take my money elsewhere.

Robert,
We update the site daily. For example this week we worked on all the Harley Quinn 25th anniversary variants, Batman Rebirth variants, Action 1000 variants and approved 1100 other variants. That is a ton of variants!
If you would like to submit a variant we will research and approve it quickly.

You're not even putting in normal issues of books that came out this week. I get the variants, but at least keep up with all the normal releases.

Patience is virtual you obviously don’t have. As said above, over a thousand have been uploaded in one week, that is amazing, unbelievable work being done in such a short period of time. Not everything in the World is Instantaneous, but the people working on this site does quite well in a very short period of time bringing new books to the guide.

How many comics come out a week vs how many people to put the comics on this site? Why the big rush to see your comics on here straight away? Patience is a virtue, good things come to those that wait etc etc. It's got to be difficult to keep up with everything as it happens in the comic book world. I do believe the guys here volunteer too.

I will gladly volunteer. Tell me where to sign up. I paid good money to wait weeks to update my collection. New books should take priority. I've been a subscriber for 10+ years at least. The last year has been ridiculous.

I found a comic that this site doesn't have to fingit was Comic Secrets. This comic is Wyonna Easp. I wish Comic Price Guide had this comic

Are we having issues updating? I have some series that pieces are being skipped for instance: Doctor Strange issue 18 has no information, 19 does, 20 doesn't. I am seeing this on a number of the ones I am trying to input. My stack of comics that I am waiting to file is getting bigger each week rather than smaller. Spawn 300, still waiting on quite a few, Marvel Comics 1000 still waiting on covers are a few other examples.

You people know you can enter the books yourself and they're usually on the site within 10-15 min. Do it yourself and quit complaining. Stand up and take action.

I posted yesterday about the same problem in CPG - Questions and Answers. I took the "action" to post all variants with pictures and after a month, none have been added to the database. I then brought up a series that hasn't been added from multiple requests as far back as March this year. So I "complained" about this and ironically enough your 10 - 15 turn around is invalid. Before you start critiquing others, please get your facts straight. If we have a concern, we as paying members have a right to express them and not be slammed by someone that apparently doesn't know all the facts.

I am new and confused about this. Are new comics not posted on a regular basis as they come out on wednesdays? With previews letting us know what we are getting months ahead of time shouldn’t this make it easier to ensure the standard covers and b variants be updated frequently.
I have not experienced anything as again I am new, but this was concerning as I just plopped $50 for what I hope is a premium service.

Yes. I wonder about this also. All the information should be in the Diamond Previews and can be added to the database. Other websites have this information. It seems they want the users to input to “add to the experience “. 🤷🏻♂️

For the most recent questions.
Yes, comics are posted every week. We have chosen not to post things in advance in case they are delayed as is often the case. Previews doesn't always show the variant covers especially if the artist is still working on them. They never show the store or artist exclusives which can sometimes be 100 books.
A person goes into a comic shop, takes pictures of all the books and puts them in the system every week.
We do need help with the variants because there isn't a list so we rely on members to help. It's not "to add to the experience". (Although that is funny.) It's because different people have different interests. Some of our members don't care about variants or even new books and others don't care about Silver or Golden age books. Our goal is to give everyone a good experience.
For $50 or less than $1/week we update hundreds of prices, add hundreds of books, keep collections list safe, write blog posts, update social media, update the app with a barcode scanner, and a million other things. For the cost of one comic, we do this for you each month. Trust me, we aren't getting rich!

I was reading some about the new scanner, how does a person get one to add comics?
I agree with your post Ronbatman and I post variants when I get them but they still seem to be delayed before they are shown and sometimes I have had to post them twice. My concern is the trade issues being so far behind, this really seems to be an issue that started not long ago ( a few months) since when I first joined this site new comics were ALWAYS here when I checked and that doesn't seem to be the case now. I never used to have a stack waiting for covers to be posted and now its the norm, and granted some are variants and I am ok with those taking a little longer, but some are trade covers and those should be on quickly.

If you download our app you will have the barcode scanner.
I can check on the weekly issues to see what's happening there. I wasn't aware of an issue.
