Missing: Buck Rogers, vintage 1979 A Golden Book adapted by Carole and Robert Pierce. I would like to know the value, my copy is in very fine condition.

CPG doesn't list Golden Books and Little Golden Books, sorry. You can find yours on 'that' auction site, doesn't seem to go for much though, and more google searches may turn up others for sale.
