Harlan Ellison died in his sleep. I once met Harlan Ellison at a comic book convention in Houston in the early 80s. After he had given a discussion about his life and science fiction and Comics I lost him in the crowd for a moment and then I went up to him to say something. He had his back turned to me and when I got up to him I realized it was a 9 or 10 year old boy. Harlan Ellison was that short.
