I have two #337 (1st Beta Ray). The cover price on one is .60 and the other is .75. I can't find in price guide the .75 varriant. Why is that? The Marvel logos are slightly different on each also...

google is your friend smile. The .75 version is the Canadian priced edition, very common (not 'rare' as some auctions sellers claim), should make no diff in value to most collectors, but may to some. CPG doesn't bother to list Canadian price 'variants' because there's a zillion of them.

You may want to read over this here:

https://rarecomics.wordpress.com/the-2018-price-guide-for-1980s-newsstand-canadian-cover-price-variants-type-1a/

Canada's population is about 10% of the US, and we aren't known as being bigger comic collectors than elsewhere, so there are less of these than the US newsstand versions. Some don't feel that there should be any difference in values, but for keys and blue chip titles the marketplace seems to think that there is in some cases.

ok, that guide is news to me (but I don't keep up with that stuff, and don't care about price variants), and it's a brand new guide, so few know about it yet. And it took 30 years before these 'variants' got enough 'notice' to have Overstreet advisors make a guide? So the question is, will CPG follow suit and spend the time to add however many .75 variants here, and base prices on a brand new guide with a very limited market price time frame so far? Fun. Not sure how many sources/sales the market price was determined from either, and they have multiple disclaimers about accuracy, which is standard, cuz it's just another guide, so take it with the proverbial grain of salt, till it gets a few years of real data under its covers.

If collectors want to pay more for something just cuz the price box is different, that's ok, and I'll keep the rest of my opinion about it to myself.
