For an existing film that I would like to see remade with a kick ass budget, director and cast, it would be the 1957 film "Night of the Demon"

For something new I would have to turn to books I have read, that would make great films.....
James Herbert   "Fluke"
Robert R McCammon "The Wolf's Hour"
Wilbur Smith Trilogy "The Burning Shore", "Men of Men", "The Angels Weep"

O.k. then this is something that has been on my mind for many years. The movies you wish they would make but so far haven't.

They would have to be big budget & done with relative respect.

Here are mine:

*The sinking of Edmund Fitzgerald (if done right, Damn...) Happened the year i was born.
*Lasseter's gold reef (Australian Legend).
*The Cannibal Convict (An incredible True story from the worst prison colony in the world, Sarah Island in Tasmania).
*The life of Kurt Cobain.
*Boudica.
*Elizabeth Bathory.
* Socrates.
* Diogenes. (A founder of Cynic Philosophy, Lived in a barrel, walked around with a lit lantern during the day, When asked why. He replied: "i'm looking for an honest man" Lol.) Had an amusing encounter with Alexander the Great ...The man is a legend.
*A movie of each of the first 5 emperors of Rome (i could talk about this for 2 weeks straight... We'll leave it there).

What are yours?
