I looked there, but its not there. There are two versions, mine is not one of them, plus the indicia does state Batman #1 special edition

That is definitely NOT Batman vol.3 #9.
It IS Batman (New 52) vol.2 #1, BUT... it is a WalMart (or other non-comic store) comic book release. I don't know if I'd call it a "special edition", but... who am I to say.
It should be added as a variant cover I guess.

That's what I am thinking, its similar to the 5th printing edition, but with a horizontal UPC box rather then a vertical one.

It's a walmart edition, hence that note in the 1st post. It should be added to the #1 variant covers as #1i or whatever. Time to light the Ronbatman signal...
