Looking at a Superman no.4 CGC grade of apparent 4.0 with apparent B-3. When looking at the values on here do I still look at the grade 4.0 value?

No. Apparent grade means it has been restored. If you go to the CGC site and look up the restoration designations you can figure out how extensive the resto is and value it accordingly. The value would be closer to what you would pay for a 2.5-3.0 or less.

Ive had a look at the guide price but what do you think this is worth? Really don't want to pay over the odds. What would you comfortably pay for it? It is going to niggle away at me until it sells. edited by Imatonkatoo on 2/7/2018

I wouldn't go higher than $1100 which is the last eBay auction for a Universal 3.0 193 days ago. However, I would actually not even go that high as the book is also trimmed so I wouldn't pay over $900. Even that might be high. edited by oxbladder on 2/7/2018

Thanks mate. He has it up for £1100 or best offer. Don't think he would take £500. Will have a proper think over the weekend.

The trimming really hurts the value. 1100 pound is way too much. That would be more than people pay for CGC universals in 3.0 and DOWN.

Yeah think I'm going to pass on it. I'm just thinking it's a good chance to own a Superman 4, but deep down I know I wont be satisfied with it. Things do tend to get overpriced here. Would probably be better off buying from the States and paying the customs charges.
