When getting books graded it really depends on what grade you honestly think they will get and whether or not the market shows that you would benefit from getting the books graded. For example, Wonder Woman 94 is a book that is pretty scarce above a 4.5 range, but is a bit more common issue in the run from 39-112 which can be hard to find. So if you think it is better than 4.5 you might consider grading because it COULD bring more than the cost of the grading back to you in profit. However, you will have to carefully assess the grade and then check to see if any of the auction sites that have realized prices, like eBay and Heritage, have any examples of graded sales. Alternatively site like GPA (which is CGC only) or GoCollect might have some number to the sales of that issue when graded.

Looking at the guide here you see that all books in all grades will bring you more money. Reality though is a very different game. You have to do your research to see if the cost of getting books graded is actually worth it in the end.

I have 34 various comics from the 50's, are they worth getting graded? I have 3 Wonder Woman that I want to sell but should they be graded first? What about cover less comics?
I have 2, showcase 9 & WW 94, how do you grade those? New here, and have had these since the 80's, and bagged and boarded them, just not sure which ones, if any are worth getting graded.
Thanks
