It is confusing has heck!!! (to keep this conversation PG rated).

As the previous post mentioned, it is really up the the publisher as to whether they abbreviate "Doctor" in the official copyright publication information (i.e. indica).

Dr. Graves or Doctor Graves? Dr. Strange or Doctor Strange? Dr. Mirage or Doctor Mirage?

And then there's Doc Savage... I'd say don't get me started, but I think it is too late...................................................................

It should correspond to the exact text written in the indicia which is normally at the bottom of the first page. Sometimes they hide it elsewhere.
