I hope you all aren't thinking, "Oh no, not another one," but my father-in-law passed down a Universal-rated 7.5 X-men issue #1 (he bought it as a kid, believe it or not). I loved the X-Men as a kid and still rock all things Marvel, but I don't want just to let it sit in a safe. I was contemplating selling it. After some research, I think I have an idea of fair market value, but I was looking for honest opinions on where to sell and for how much. Any help would be appreciated, and you would have my gratitude.

I can upload photos for proof if necessary, but I do have it, and it is real.

I wonder if we could add the sellers nationality up front?
Maybe have every members nationality displayed if they allow it?

Shipping between Canada and the USA can change prices substantially.
Half the battle I have as a Canadian buyer is messaging to find out where sellers are from...and if they will even ship to Canada.

this has been brought up before, and 2 times back in 2020 an admin said: "We have talked about giving sellers the option to specify their location, which would benefit all our members around the world....We will talk about it and see if we can add that to the seller information. Maybe we can give the seller the option as Ebay does. Give us some time on this one. -Ron"
so far nothing has happened, but maybe some day...

Hi I became a member of CPG about a year ago. I've catalogued 3 boxes (about 1000 books) of my comics so far on CPG. I have a total of about 15 boxes, and it takes me a full day per box to catalogue them on CPG. I haven't organized my collection, other than to catalogue them on CPG.

My goal is to sell my comics as a whole group or in smaller groups., but I don't want to sell my comics individually. My comics are in Cambridge, MA, but we spend part of the year in Ft. Lauderdale, so I don't have access to them all year.

Any suggestions on next steps to sell my collection, after I get them catalogued on CPG?

Canadian here, My uncle's estate had about 100 comics with Archie's and Ripley's from the 60's and 70's. is there a How-to sell my collection quickly and fair priced? I can up load 8 a day here, finding it really hard to locate them in the DB and there isn't a quick Export method or "how-to" I can find yet. Looks like an amazing site, but I'm just trying to sell 500 different things and comic's is one of them. Thanks, sorry if this is post 100 of the same.

the how-to stuff is mostly in their videos on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3eOHtGDGIs0GGohUDuypf3TlQM2aupdo
in the links at the top right of the site pages, under 'About', you'll find the FAQs page and other pages. the 'How To Use CPG' link is the one I posted that goes to their videos.
as for finding your issues, look inside the book to see the indicia/publishing info paragraph, that will give you the correct title to look for. CPG should have pretty much all the Archies and Ripleys.
and see my search tips on this thread, 4th post down, that should help too: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=12110
if you still can't find something, post it on the https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topics.aspx?ForumID=21 forum and someone will help you out. have fun...

I've entered my entire collection into CPG and posted an announcement that my entire collection is for sale but is there a way to list the entire collection for sale without going title by title/issue by issue? Sorry if I missed it but it seems massively time consuming if I was going to do that for a 1300+ book collection. Thanks for any helpful replies, I appreciate it! GC

I'd like to start selling some of my comics on here, but I'm not a professional grader and I'm not sure exactly what to put for conditions. The last thing I want is to have unhappy buyers /*4and have to have comics returned because they didn't feel I graded them correctly. Any suggestions?

I also do raw grading - and the grading guide is the place to start
I usually only grade a few at a time - 10-20 -- otherwise, I start to get tired, or sloppy with the grading....
Grade BEFORE you check the prices.....avoid the temptation to grade just a little higher.....
My general rule of thumb, because I'm NOT a professional grader, and I may, on occasion, tweak the grade a little higher.... when it's time to sell, I will often drop the price a bit lower than the raw listed price
Then, if my grading is a bit off, the price won't be
And if my grading is spot on, the buyer will be pleased they received better than expected -- and come back and buy more!
