Norrin Radd belonged to a world in which he refused to become the herald of Galactus and in which his planet and everyone on it perished at the hand of Galactus. This reality was shown by Dr. Strange's Eye of Agamotto to Dr. Strange and the Silver Surfer himself (both of Earth-616) to show them what would have happened had Norrin Radd chosen not to become the Silver Surfer.
