Jason Birch threatened William Talltrees' father and was responsible for the death of his family. Sometime later in New York City, he barely escaped a murder attempt by the Red Wolf and Lobo, thanks to the Vision's interference.
A few days later, after their Quienjet was shot down near Wolf Point, Jase and Calvin captured the Vision and an unconscious Scarlet Witch and took them to Van Lunt's hacienda. He was apparently defeated by the Red Wolf and the Avengers, who attacked the mansion to free their kidnapped members.
