Gorgeous George was a member of the Nasty Boys, a group of young mutants whose first and only missions were against the government sponsored X-Factor.
He retained his mutant powers after the events of M-Day and, together with Slab and Hairbag, opened a lab for MGH's production.
When the Upstarts resurfaced, George and the other Nasty Boys were killed only to be used as bait to lure out the X-Men.
Gorgeous George was later one of the many mutants who resurfaced on the mutant island of Krakoa. While attending a party at the Green Lagoon, Black Tom Cassidy stumbled into George. George ridiculed Black Tom's role on Krakoa and started a fight. Sage joined in the brawl, defending Black Tom from Gorgeous George.
