| I'm sitting at work doodling, and just drew up a little pic of Green Lantern going man-to-man with Sentry.... got me thinking... Does yellow still effect Hal? Could Sentry do anything against the power of the ring? What do you think? |

Well disagree with, The Fuj. The Green Lantern does possues the most powerful weapon in the Universe but how can Lantern defeat someone who has no current weakness, as stated by Tony Stark and Nick Fury.
The Sentry possesses superhuman strength which rivals Hulk, Thor, Hercules. Sentry was able to rip Carnage in half and also taking Terrax's cosmic hammer and shattering it in half with his hands. Terrax's hammer is one of the most powerful objects in the Marvel Universe, i might add. In a comic, i think it must have been one of the comics where he beats the Fantastic Four, the hammer was capable of emanating waves of destructive force sufficiently powerful to rent a tear in Galactus's own ship.
How on earth could Green Lantern take a Cosmic powered object from a cosmic being/herald of galactus and break it with his hands?
Also responding the Acolyte's question, if Sentry could take a cosmic powered object from one of the most powerful beings in the Universe i feel he would be able to withstand the power of the ring, maybe even destroy it.
The Sentry seems to possess nigh-invulnerability. He has other powers which are amazing too.
Marvel has said that The Sentry is the world's most powerful superhero, so thats saying something. His powers are limitless, and may rivial beings such as Silver Sufer and Phoenix.
Lastly, Telepathy. He possesses vast psychic and mental forces mainly used for holding his physical powers together. He was also able to emit a form of mental radiation capable of calming the fury of the Hulk.

we can disagree.
The Sentry one of the most over-hyped characters, and has had no pay off in 6 years.

I dont measure my manhood on a number, unless that number involves current salary, sexual conquests or inches...I am not concerned with my grammer on a message board. If I ask one of you for a job, we both have a problem. I will save my writing skills for something that is important enough to warrant them
