Did anyone catch the solicitation in Diamond previews for the next month of 52???? They actually have the back cover with Black Adam and inside it says:
52 Weeks 44-47
Storylines will interesect with horrifying results, a main character will die, another will do something he hasn't done in years and one will fall from grace.
The picture shows Black Adam on his throne with destruction all around him. The caption states:
Bialya:
Weeks 1-43 Poulation 26,074,906
Weeks 44-47, Population 0
WOW.

I'm stumped on Supernova. They've hinted he's akin to "Nova" who took over when Supes was out of commission in an old World's Finest issue. Turned out to be a dream or something like that, so the only guess I'd have is that Supernova is Supes or another kryptonian.
I suspect that Animal Man will bite it, but with the ending of this week's issue, I'm wondering if it won't be the main man himself that ends up hanging out on the river Styx permanently.
I would be incredibly surprised if the Black Shazam family stick around after 52, so I'd say he's the fall, or at least a reversion.
We already know that Fate's helm hasn't chosen a permanent host yet, so I figure Ralph will continue his journey. I'm still puzzled about The Question... is he the last Charleton holdover? If so, since Blue Beetle and Booster Gold have bitten it, I'll say he died at the end of the last issue. Not sure about Renee taking over... she'll hang around though. Greg Rucka LOVES her.  |

| I don't think Booster was ever a Charleton character, but to answere your main question they still have Captain Atom, and I think Peter Cannon (Thunderbolt) was also an Charleton character, but I have no idea if he is still around. |

Any updates on Captain Atom since he put on the Monarch suit (possibly becoming Monarch)?

| I have no idea what is happening with Captain Atom/Monarch. It would be great if they used him in some way, but I think they will just let it hang out there for a year or two, and then bring him back. Maybe they will wait until they need to clean things up in the universe again. If they do that it will take about 20 years, for that seems to be DC pattern. :) |
