Well I just finished reading DC Universe 0. It's the first new comic I've bought in over 20 years. Actually, I guess I didn't really buy it since Midtown Comics in Manhattan is giving them away, up to 3 copies per person and you don't even have to buy anything.
Anyway, it was pretty good. Cool art and such. Mostly it seemed like a long advertisement for what look to be the major Final Crisis tie-ins: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern. And filled with tantalizations about the secret return...
At 50¢ (or 0¢) it was a fine deal. If the rest of the comics were that price as well I'd probably be getting Final Crisis and all those tie-ins. But since they'll be the regular steep price I think I'll have to pass.

Dude, you're crazy if you pass up Final crisis.
The tie ins, I understand cause of the money sure....but the main book. It's going to be awesome.
plus..Blackest Day, Batman R.I.P...and all the other good books stuff DC has planned. This is so their year. They're doing a comic universe like it should be done.

I enjoyed it pretty much but I don't think a casual DC Comics reader will understand much of it though (As much as Didio believes and professed it to be).
I'm really looking forward to GL, Batman RIP and WW even more. Gotta love those ManAzons! Does anyone think Barry will be sticking around post FC?
The only thing is I wish DC would have given them away instead of having me pay to look at their advertisements, even if it was only .50. Marvel did the right thing with SI Saga.

I guess you already have yours, so this is probably too late but ... I think you can DC Universe 0 for free from Midtown Comics' web site. I know you could get it free when it first came out at least.
