| 1970-Vulcan Gas. I just got a copy that was manufactured with no staples. Does anyone know whether this was common with this book? Thanks.

My copy only had one staple.....I'm guessing that hippies in Austin folded books to be sold (ala Apex novelties in 1970). So some got staples, and some didn't. Anyone else got info?

Doesn't look like this copy has staple(s) either.

Wow, $700 for Gas Comics #1?
Man, I feel like I got a steal picking up the same seller's Gas Comics #2 in about the same condition for $180.
Don't have a #1 yet, but that one's just a leeeetle too steep for me.
