Thank for the info, can you tell me about Featutre Books 14 (Popeye)? Overstreet says it's scarce (100 copies)

Feature 14 is a Gerber 7

I noticed that many of the other Feature Books are Gerber 8's

Always looking for Giant-Size Marvels and Extreme High Grade Vampirella's
Savage Sword of Conan Magazines needed VF++ or better: 18, 30, 31, 32, 33, 36, 55, 61, 98, 129, 132, 134, 141, 143, 145, 151, 171, 179, 191, 192, 194, 196-211, 215, 216, 217, 218, 221, 222, 223, 224, 226, 227, 228, 229, 235

this whole industry has changed since i use to do this..i think all the ga bks are pretty hard to find if your really looking for it..after you find the darn thing you have to consider grd another

factor..i mean do you really want a 1.0? i'm guessing al the collectors here must want whatever they want in at least a decent grd...isn't this true?i want a comic not something

 you leave in a bag and will desinegrate when you take it out...true? a guy tried to sell me a jla #1  he said was g- maybe fair.. he had it in a ga bag with bb for support and i do mean support ..ireally didn't want take it out of the bag, so i asked him to do it ..he remove the tapes from the bag, when he proceed to take it out i saw what looked to be a dust cloud in the bag! finally getting it out the comic lost a couple chunks which was at the bottom of the bag..i asked how did he figure g- he told me it was when it went in..lol back to topic

how many times you any one of us physically viewed  a fu manchu det #1...i'm lucky i actually opened it and looked at it .. is det#1 listed in gerbers what's it rating?

now try det!!!!!!!!!!! never physically saw it ..damn most pretty up there...when it comes to ga to me all bets are off they all are rare ...just add this preposition-" in high grade!"

the end

still scratching my head as to what that paragraph means. jk.

fu manchu is not on the cover of detective 1. his first appearance was in a later issue. most people mistaken that for fu manchu.

Slightly off topic but this thread mentioned that Gerber was often wrong-maybe by double.

Then someone said they may be high or low.

Any one know examples of either?

I use Gerber in all purchases.

Someone mentioned Feature Books.

I have noticed Featue books are rated very rare yet you can still find them.
