So I was getting this series and the Superman series and then they just vanashed?Why is it when something cool comes along they take it away

All Star Editor Bob Schreck was laid off which put an end to that. However, ASB&R has been written to #16 by Millar, they're just waiting on Lee's pencils and it may end up under the Wildstorm label, and the DC Boards still insist an All Star Wonder Woman is definitely in the works. Grant ended Superman All Star with Supes 'death', so that is definitely finished.
What are your thoughts on Variant covers. I remember in the late 80's and 90's, they used to put out these multiple cover issues and it drove me crazy and confused collectors. SO I got out of collecting. Now that I'm getting back in, I'm seeing these variant covers again. Is this different from the 80's system? Is it worth collecting Variants, or are they just a gimic that will devalue over time?
ANy thoughts?

some variants will hold their value while most will decrease in value as you stated. Lots of people here collect variants and have a better idea or could explain it in further detail.

The Batman one? I never heard a definitive end point on that one. The Superman one was always going to be a one year Maxi.

Right, I know that Supes ended at 12. But all star batman and robin continued? Man, I need to keep better track. What was the last issue?
