I never saw the cards, but I liked the art in this. You can send me one of those first prints if you need some help to make room for some more toys. hehehehe...

I stopped in this cool store down from the comic shop that has a bunch of fantasy books and games, dungeons and dragons type stuff. They had a small section of cards, and I found a Batman card game set I'm gonna try and get when I get paid if they still have it. The cards look like they are the holographic cards. They also had several shelves full of the old revell and amc plastic models. Though they aint cheap, there were battleships, planes, star trek..etc. And yes, I found a bat-boat and a bat-plane model. $20.00 each, but I'm thinking strongly about picking those up.

I'm hawking those killing jokes in the The CPG Open Air Market

I know those Batman Cards, only the top card in the starter deck is a Hologram. A couple years ago we put them in my son's treat bag for his birthday party. I found a case of starters on ebay for less than $3 a starter deck, including shipping. I probably still have a few. I also have a full box of Buffy the Vampire Slayer starter packs. Think I'm saving them for a birthday party when my kid's old enough to think BtVS is pretty awesome, they'll be cool by then.

The Revell reissue models are pretty neat. And cheap enough that you could build one, if ya want...

You should surf around on ebay before buying any non-sports cards. You don't want to start out paying $10-$20 for sets of bulk cards... They are fun, and they are cheap.

Buying the new cards at retail is not fun, nor cheap. Not even reasonable.

Even the expensive ones are cheap, the 1938 Superman cards are about $100 a NM card - that's cheap compared to a NM 1938 Superman comic.

But they don't go up in value very often. And they can quickly take up too much space.

I've got a huge collection of non-sports cards, started collecting with 2nd series Star Wars. Pretty much quit after buying 2 cases of Sandman cards.

Dang, wish I'd have seen that earlier. I'm broke now. I'm glad this is a short month. lol

Sure I'll be yer bat-buddy.

Next month I'm gonna try and tear up ebay getting bronze. I can't seem to find them in the lcs around here. There's plenty from 87 on, but not much before that.

Must be getting late, bat-buddy is dangerously close to bath-buddy....

Hahaha..I dunno something suss runs through my head when I see this cover!

There is something odd about that cover. What ever floats one's boat I always say.
Whatever winds one's clock.
Whatever shines one's shoe.
Whatever sands one's block.
Whatever quacks one's duck.

I dig those Batman Addventures and The Batman & Robin Adventures,

The art seemed kiddie but I read a few of the stories and they were good. I think I might start grabbin' those too!

Don, are you my new Bat-buddy? [Tongue]

TEX

is it just my french root or does it sound terribly wrong??
bat-buddy in french we use the term bat as a childish way of describing our man-thing maybe you want to reconsider it

P.S: nice Haul Don and if you ride with batman just be sure the batman doesn't try to ride you lol

I tried to change the world, but god won't give me the source code, I tried to do it in Proton and failed.

That would be one battle the batman would lose.

Batman: Turning Points TPB $7.00 from the used book store.

I'll put some more up in a bit.

Hey!

That looks sweet! Is that an original story or is it a compilation of Batman issues?

TEX

I think they are original stories because there's no mention of them being reprints of old issues and it's done in chapters. And it's all stories of the alliance between Batman and Gordon.

Hey Tex, it's not really new stories, but it revisits some of the old story lines giving a bit more detail about the interaction between Batman and Gordon. Not retelling the stories, just giving more info on their friendship and how they sort of help each other out in various times of doubt about their work. A pretty cool read.

All these talks about riding Batman and baths. I don't know what's going on here.
And that cover of Batman Beyond looks a little suspect.

Thank you, but I can't take credit for that one. I found it from a search of Bathman.
